We had a wonderful time. The course is challenging but always fun to play. Pace of play was right at 4 hrs.

If the course had a yardage book it would certainly help. Being it was the first time playing for our whole group we had no knowledge of the course layout or the best place to hit your ball, especially the tee shouts.

Not very friendly at check in or the snack bar (same person). Starter was very friendly and accommodating. Course was pretty nice except the sand traps were very poor and many (most) had no rakes.

We were able to play as a twosome so we were waiting at many tee boxes. The round was only 4 1/2 hours long at mid day so pace was pretty good. The staff was very friendly on and off the course. Looking forward to playing there again.

This course is a pretty good value. Pace is a little slow and the condition could be better but that's why is a good value.
Apache Creek Golf Club

If you hit into the desert it's worth taking a drop back into the fairway. The desert is mostly rock and not worth damaging your clubs.

Badly in need of water and maybe over seeding. Fairways are very hard and hard to hit off of. Have played this course for many years and have never seen it in worse shape.

We had a great time. We were teamed up with two othe players and chose to play from the yellow tees. Many holes have water on the sides of the fairways which was a potential problem if you weren't a straight hitter. Also there wer some holes on the back nine that had streams running through the center of the fairways which seemed to be right at my drives landing point. I wish I would have reviewed the yardage book before I aggressive on the yellow tees. Be prepared to lose a few balls!!
