Course in great shape, value is really good. On top shape. Would return next time

All aspects of course were really good. No complaints

Greens pretty good mostly, fairways ok. Confusing layout since hole monument does not always match score card. Need better and clearer fairway markers ie 150 yard. Carts paths horrible, add rock and sand to the holes. Other areas, just tear it up and have a dirt path. Price wise, it's about a $35 course. I heard it was worse before so I know it takes time to fix, on a budget. I would return, no problem. Usually play in Morganton.

Crowded in am, so slow play. Gets better as long as they don't start new players on 10th tee. Almost had a new foursome starting in front of us on the 10th, but they corrected it. Greens are nice, but alot of weeds in some areas off the greens. Bare areas need to be addressed. Would play again.

Play this every few years, fair price, good layout, but not perfect. Like most courses. Greens and fairways were in good condition.

Aerating greens, no notice by course, but the greens have not been maintained, large dead areas. Meal deal is a joke, only choices are a chicken salad or ham sandwich. Played this since it opened, won't recommend nor return.

Too much hype about this course, especially for the cost to play. The Greens and fairways were great, but did notice a lot of weeks, around tees, etc. Seems like maintenance in some areas, has taken a back seat. What I really disliked about the course was the condition of the traps. Only ended in about 4 throughout the round, but they are not acceptable. I cant imagine the "Bear" approves of this condition. It is hard panned with about 1/4 inch of sand on top. This week, I played TPC Las Vegas, Spanish Trails, and Royal Links. Their traps were much better. It is called a "Sand Trap", for a reason.

They try to push too many groups through. Backed up on 2nd hole, took 3 hours for 9 holes. When we get to the next tee each time, the group in front of us had not teed off yet. Played 10 then 11, gave up, tired of waiting and replayed 1 thru 9 in 1 hr. If they fix this it would be 5 stars. Note they don't have a clubhouse yet so Porta Johns on course.

Booked last minute, pretty happy with choice. Greens were little slow. Will play again.

Great course conditions, friendly staff, and a different challenge with the elevated greens. Never used my loft wedge so much. Will retun to play since it is now is a favorite.

Played the Palm, nice and challenging, good layout and friendly staff. Would return again when in town.

Great layout, used to host the Honda Classic, so it is challenging. They need to address the weeds on the greens, way too many. Also, if they are going to maintain the traps, they need to add sand to them. Most is sugar sand with rocks and after 1/2 down, it is hard panned. They either need to add sand or reduce the size of the traps.
