Riverwood is just a beautiful course to play, nice and quiet, the conditions are a 9/10, greens are in wonderful shape, fairways nicely mowed and manicured, flower beds, bushes, etc. are always kept clean of debri. It is more challenging from the blues, or really challenging from the whites. Staff are wondeful, the starter is full of golf knowlege of courses in the surrounding areas, Mollie the cart girl is the best.

We were greeted with an on the spot bag drop man, as soon as we arrived, courtesy from EVERY staff person our round. The pro shop did not have the balls I play, yet, they offered me knowledge on comparable balls. We were paired up with a member, could not have been a greater person to play with, he was helpful on the course and very enjoyable to play with! They have a great cart girl, "comfort center" bathrooms, ice, water a couple of places on the course. The course is in immaculate condition, fairways clean long and beautiful, greens are fast, they get your attention. Not a course to pass up, if you happen to pair up with Mr. Smith, your day is golden.

Lakewood National would remind you of a higher end course in Michigan, finally a few hills to play.
Green are true and undulating, it was a welcome change to a lot of the greens we have been playing, you can actually have a 100 foot putt on a couple of holes. It is beautifully maintained, the staff is very friendly, ask for Tina the cart girl she is a true gem.

Always have a great day on Boca Royale course. I prefer the back 9 to the front. Few hidden bunkers, some challenging water holes. A little dry, greens were a little fast, but true. Played the back tee's, made for a great day. Lot's of dead trees, looks like the Spanish moss is doing the trick. Lot's of nice homes, people very friendly here.
Watched a little alligator walk across the course, lots of bird variety.

The course is GREAT!!!! Be there prior to your tee time as they seemed always packed, the bag drop guys do a great job, tip them well, both in and out, you will be glad you did. You are warned that part of area is under construction, IT IS NOT THE COURSE, you just have to go around where they are building homes, does not infringe on play, areas are loud due to excavators, however a small area of the course. Being from Michigan I am used to many trees, narrow fairways, and water. Well, here you see some beautiful palm trees, huge water, and sand bunkers that come out of nowhere. The course is in great condition!!! This course is LONNNNGGGGG and plays longer. Most bunkers were great sand. You do see alligators one quite large, however he just watched us go on by. If you are looking for great golf this is the course. 19th hole were great drinks, and service. They also have a cart girl on course, we found a rarity on most courses we played in Florida.

I walked into pro shop to pay for our golf, a great smile from a man that made you feel welcomed. He explained that there were a couple of elder 3-4 somes playing ahead of us, that they may be slow but they only play 9, he was letting u know it may be slow. The gentleman that helped us in pro-shop could be a linebacker for the NFL, however the nicest man ever. The course is more like northern courses, small fairways, with lots of trees, it was quiet, and even though they were packed after the turn barely saw anyone as it is laid out that way.The greens are tough, fairways, great shape, great shape, this is a course not to miss. The staff here is one of the nicest we have found on our month long golf excursion, Playing again this week.
