The Club At Westminster
Played On 02/01/2024Major improvements
The course rating is still suffering from well-documented tough times over the past couple years but the Club at Westminster is definitely on its way back to glory. The course has been fully renovated and worth a replay. The front 9 greens are still growing in but the back 9 was in incredible condition. The overall experience is very good and conditions will only improve as time goes on. Certainly worth a mulligan if you played prior to the renovation, this course has improved so much since my last round here.
Breakfast Hill Golf Club
Played On 06/18/2020Worth the drive
Breakfast Hill is a fun course that is definitely worth drive from the Boston area. It's a very walkable, shorter course with plenty of room to hit driver (Tips are about 6500 yards). I was paired with a couple members who really helped me play some of the trickier holes. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who hasn't played it yet.
Shadowbrooke Golf Course
Played On 07/01/2017Fun country course
Shadowbrooke is a fun track with plenty of challenge and a nice variety of golf holes. The course is in farm country and quiet compared to other courses closer to the cities which might be the best part of the whole place. Course is built on low lying land so avoid after a heavy downpour. Greens were slow but in decent shape.
The Refuge Golf Club
Played On 05/23/2017Fun course with plenty of challenge
I played here for the first (after several recommendations from coworkers) recently on a cool, overcast day and had the course to ourselves. Course was in fair to decent shape with plenty of normal wear and tear (unfixed ball marks and plenty of unfilled divots) seen at public courses. The layout is deceivingly long for the yardage and has some fun holes carved out of the marsh. I will definitely play here again.
Stillwater Country Club
Played On 05/11/2017Fantastic old style golf course
I'm still new to the area and had never played the course but was invited by a friend who knows good golf. If you appreciate classic golf, you will really enjoy this course. The course tips out at 6800 and it's a solid test. Great mix of short and longer par 4s, subtle greens with plenty of speed. Hard to pick a favorite hole but #18 is fun par 5 with a fair chance to make birdie. If you get the chance to play here, you won't be disappointed.
The Jewel Golf Club

Heard about this course through a friend, them saw it listed on the Top 50 list here on Golf Advisor. The course is a lot of fun, beautiful views of the surrounding area. I would recommend this to anyone who lives in the Twin Cities and looking for something different. I will definitely make it back to play!
