Bunkers

Bear Creek has a beautiful layout in my opinion (both East & West courses) and is normally very enjoyable. However, what is with the sand traps, especially the East Course? Basically have to remove ball from bunker and play from grass. Hit rock twice while playing from bunkers and actually scratched sand wedge. Ball went flying across green and about took my playing partner's head off. They've been like this for some time with no evidence of putting money back into course. You'll hit off mats on range also which sucks. Would like to return but probably won't until some effort is made to bring course back to descent condition.

Nice Course, bunkers need help

Played Bridlewood on 3/30/17.Found course to be in very good shape considering how early in the season we are and the fact severe wx rolled thru a few days before. Greens are moderatley fast which i like. Greens aren't holding approach shots too well but that should change soon. Bunkers really need some work and is my only disappointment with course and in really bad shape. Nice range and practice facility

Pricey

Beautiful location along scenic Avila Beach. A few holes with strange (unorthodox) layouts. Helps to have local course knowledge, especially if you're a longer hitter. Play was slow, over 5 hours. Noticed at least one group playing as 6some. In the future, I will play Morro Bay, few minutes North with more affordable green fees, amazing ocean views and much cooler temperatures.
