Timber Greens Country Club
Played On 07/26/2019Excellent course, Lousy weather
Under normal conditions, this is an excellent course. However, on this day course should have been closed!! The course was extremely wet with standing water on many fairways. It was raining from light to moderate the entire round. The greens were in excellent shape and surprisingly fast considering wet conditions. Only reason we played today under lousy weather conditions was course was open and could not get GolfNow refund.. Looking forward to playing under better weather and course conditions,
Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf Club
Played On 06/01/2017Must play golf course
This is one of best courses ever played. Very challenging. Greens are quite difficult (but fair) to putt since you never seem to get a flat putt on any hole. Each hole seems to be quite different and enjoyable.
Seven Hills Golfers Club
Played On 02/24/2017This course is somewhat challenging
The course was in very good condition but the greens were a little slow to putt. It seems like every time we play the course the greens get smaller and smaller. This puts a premium on shot accuracy. The pace of play was very good (4 hrs) and we did not wait on any hole. The only negative fact was the snack bar closed at about 5:15 pm way to early when you have a 1:00 pm tee time and can not get a drink, use restroom or anything after playing Would recommend this course.
Lansbrook Golf Club
Played On 05/28/2016Best greens in Tampa area - a must play course
The course conditions were very good. The greens are the best we have played in the Tampa area. Course is challenging but not overly difficult. Position on greens can greatly affect your score.
Wentworth Golf Club
Played On 06/26/2014Very well maintained and challenging course. Need your A-game here.
I would have rated the course 5 stars except the greens had been recently aireated and some sand/fertilizer was on the greens. However, quite surprisingly did not affect putting to a major degree. Although not extremely long, many well placed bunkers and challenging course. Fairways were in very good condition considering the dry conditions lately. Would definitely play this course again.
Palmer at Saddlebrook Golf & Tennis Resort
Played On 11/11/2013Excellent challenging course - greens very contoured (not typical Florida) and difficult to putt
This course is well worth the money. You had better have your A-game when playing. The course conditions were outstanding with very contoured (some multi-tiered) and fast, difficult to putt greens. If you had down hill putt; good luck getting close to hole. For some reason, the fairways were quite wet (no rain for some time now) and you got almost no roll thus making course play much longer than scorecard
Par Three at Magnolia Valley Golf Club
Played On 10/18/2013The course was in poor condition, especially tees and greens.
The course was in very poor condition. The tee boxes were bare with little grass. The greens were mostly bare and many had patches in them. The back nine greens had sand/fertilizer all over them and some were like putting in sand trap. The price was very cheap (afternoon) but was not worth the cheap rate.
Crescent Oaks Country Club
Played On 8/30/2013The course has a great layout with super-friendly staff
The course has a great layout and with seven different tee boxes will be a challenge for all caliber of golfer. The staff was super-friendly in all areas. The only drawback at the time we played was that the front nine in particular was very wet. Carts could not be taken from the cart paths and you got no roll on any shots. The back nine was much drier and cart 90 degree rule was in effect. The greens had been recently aerated, but were in playable condition. I will definitely play the course again, but under much drier conditions and unaerated greens.
Championship at Seven Springs Country Club
Played On 6/26/2013Course was in excellent condition for this time of year - challenging course with excellent greens
The course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Fairways and greens were excellent with the greens being quite quick if above the hole. Challenging course for all skill levels - to score well better bring your A-game. Some of the sand traps could have used a little more sand in them.
Rolling Oaks at World Woods Golf Club
Played On 5/26/2013Fantastic course, great condition - highly recommend to everyone
Rolling Oaks course is a great course and was in fantastic condition. Greens are quite large and a real challenge to putt if not below the hole. Course played longer than the yardage indicated - must fly ball all the way to green since could not get roll onto greens like many courses. Better bring your A-game with you!!!
Northdale Golf Club
Played On 2/9/2013The greens were outstanding - the rest of the course was better than average
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE IN THE AFTERNOON ON WEEKENDS!!! We had a 1:07pm tee time but did not tee of for about an hour late because there were no golf carts available. . The course has 72 golf carts and all were on the course by 12:00 - that means at least two groups per hole. There was a 40 minute wait for golf carts to come off the 18th hole (obviously due to extremely slow play). Once we finally teed off, the course played fairly fast for the first 7 holes (due to lack of carts and delayed tee times) - after that we waited on every hole. It was almost dark when we played the last hole (6:30pm). No way people that teed off after us finished their 18 holes.
Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club
Played On 1/10/2013Course in very good condition - not a hard course but has a variety of hole difficulities
The course was in very good condition. Moderate difficulity level depending on the tees selected. Greens are fairly quick and contoured. Some greens can be difficult to putt depending on pin placement - some with fairly large slope and breaks. The staff is very cordial and accomadating.
