I like Tilden, it is a very challenging course! Greens were on the slower side this day but still had a great time!

I will start by saying, I like this course a lot. It has a lot of history! If I am told correct, it is one of the oldest, if not THE oldest Golf Course west of the Mississippi. Lots of elevation change, AMAZING VIEWS!!! I have played here many times and it seems like the maintenance is going downhill which saddens me. The greens were in great shape which was awesome, but the fairways could really use some love. The number 1 green has a pine tree hovering it and by noon the green is covered in pine needles. Send someone out with a blower to clear it off a few times a day, thats an easy fix.

For the practice area, the practice green is fantastic. Great views and just a very comfortable place to practice your short game. The driving range could use new mats on some stalls. Others are just fine to hit off of.

Usually this course does not charge a lot to play which is a great deal for the average golfer, sub $35 rounds with a cart so its a great deal any day of the week. It is definitely worth a play! A very short course from any tee-box with lots of opportunity to score well!

I have been coming here for years. It is a great course with 27 holes, (You can pick the 18 you want to play). It is in really good shape especially after some rain. The greens are always in good condition, some sand traps could use a little love, but you know what that means, don't get caught in them and you won't have to worry about it.

It is lined with homes but there is a lot of room to bail out for the most part. The driving range is nothing special, except the fact that it does give you a chance to warm up. The putting green is very similar to what you will see on the course. I play here at least 6 times a year!

This is a great course! It has many challenges, makes you hit accurate shots, and great greens! It is always well kept and has a layout I love (hills, elevated tees, tiered greens)

The practice facility is what every course needs. It has a nice driving range and 3 different practice greens to mess around on. I highly recommend this course!

The staff there was incredible. Unfortunately I dont go to the golf course to mingle with the workers.

You are paying for the view at this point. The course condition is not so stellar. EVERY SINGLE BUNKER is over grown. There are SOOOO MANY it is near impossible to avoid them. Even their signature hole, completely overgrown with weeds. This was a 5 hour and 45 minute round! The fairways have MANY dry patches, the tee boxes were uneven. No driving range which anyone who is going to play here needs to know that to have a chance to warmup somewhere else. I would be very unhappy had I paid $100 to play here. For $100 I would expect everything to be in tip-top shape! Even in "drought" conditions, most other courses that charge that make it work! Luckily $50 Hot Deal got me out there.

The views are absolutely stunning that is for sure.
Until course conditions are fixed, I am not sure I can come back. It is a VERY challenging course even before you put all the bad conditions into play.

The greens really quick. Made you feel like youre on the PGA tour.

This was my first time here. I drove over an hour to come play this course. I get their e-mails all the time, and it looks amazing. Well, it is AMAZING! The design is great, the greens were perfect! (Rolled true) The tee boxes were awesome, whole course was like a golf course should be.

I feel this isn't a true testimony to the overall course, but this happened... The front nine took about 2 hours 20 min... okay thats fine. We make the turn and their are 3 carts on the 10th tee box. I am now watching a 6-some tee off. Yes, 6. So I wait, and wait, and wait, and finally tee off. Then I get up to my ball, and wait, and wait, and wait some more for the group of 6 to clear the green. I look over to the 11th tee box, and there is a FIVE-some there. So we have 2 groups of golfers, with 11 golfers total. I look to the 12th hole, no one. I look to the 13th hole, that group is clearing the green. These two large groups are now 2 entire holes behind, and NO MARSHAL IN SITE! I couldn't believe it. We jumped ahead two holes because honestly, that is just not acceptable. We saw the marshall 3 times on the front 9 and assumed they were making sure to keep the pace. After we skip the slowdown, we catch up with the next group, just to find out that there is no one within 2 holes infant of them. I just could not believe it.

The course was great, like I mentioned above, it was just what you wanted out of a golf course in terms of layouts and greens. But, the fact that the staff could not maintain a decent pace of play here, really bummed me out. I hear that normally it has a GREAT pace, I guess i caught the course on an off day. Bummer...

Came from out of town. It is a nice course, the layout is not the easiest but still played well. The greens were great! The bunkers were overgrown, so much so that lots of the bunkers didn't even have rakes near them. Granted, it had DUMPED rain the day before so they didn't get a chance give them any maintenance before I got out there. I will say, for 40$ it was worth it! 3 hour round by myself which was great. Being from California, the sounds of the birds, ducks, geese, and turtles in the ponds were great! It is worth playing at least once that's for sure!

WOW! I don't even know where to start! This course gives you the "am I watching this amazing course on TV" feel! BEAUTIFUL fairways! BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT greens! It was all just amazing! My friend and I brought our girlfriends to drive the carts and even they had a blast! We drove 2 hours that day to play this course and we can not WAIT to get back! The yardage book is a lifesaver btw. Staff was incredibly friendly! All facilities were top-notch! GOOD WORK DARKHORSE!

It was my first time here, I drove over an hour and a half to play for the day. It was awesome!! A bit windy when the clouds cleared but hey, you're playing on the coast of California, what do you expect! Beautiful fairways and greens (real fast greens at that) a great layout, and the 16th and 17th holes make you feel like you're in a sugarcane field in Hawaii! Highly recommended. The staff was awesome! Cleaned my clubs before and after the round. Great place to go all around! I'm already planning a return visit before the end of this year!

Love playing here. The par 6 on the 18th is truly amazing! I've heard it's the only par 6 west of the Mississippi. The views on the back nine are amazing! There is a lot of use for a driver and woods and it is a bummer you can't practice those clubs at their driving range. For the price it is for 18 and a cart, it is TOTALLY worth a play!
