The course was recommended by a local resident. Couldn't get a signal for my gps so was on my own to estimate yardage which was a challenge as there are no fairway yardage makers to be found. If your looking for a course to hang out with the guys and horse around it's fine. If you on vacation and you're golf purist save your money and head to the resort courses. Great bird watching!

I enjoy playing this course. The views are fantastic and guaranteed to please. It is a short course but has it's challenges and keeps your interest.On this day I played the Desert and Canyon courses, both were in top condition. The pace of play was excellent. (3.30 min) If you can get a rate under $80.00 jump on it.

The course is scenic and challenging. The greens are quick. A good idea would be to spend some time on the practice green before your round. I've played this course in the past and frankly can't remember if it was slow or if this was a the usual pace of play. It was truly a death march with no ranger presence anywhere. (5+ hrs.) I suggest an early tee time to make certain you can get the entire round in.

Course was in good condition. Pace was fantastic. Didn't see another golfer until the 17th tee. Took the front nine to get the putting dialed in. The greens were lightning fast!

The weather and the course were both perfect. Was paired up with another single and we played as a two sum. The pace was very good only waited on a couple of the par 3's. There are some holes you may want to leave the driver in the bag and go for course management. The complimentary fresh fruit offered by the ranger was a nice touch. I would play it again.

Course is in great summer shape. Greens are a bit shaggy but to expected this time of year. Played the North course which is my personal favorite of the two courses. Met some great people to round out the foursome. Was a very enjoyable round. Play it while the rates are low.

The course can't be beat at the summer rates. Great condition as usual. Pace of play was adequate. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Would recommend you play it before the rates go up,up,up..

The course has a great senior rate that makes the drive from Minneapolis a good value. Most of the fairways are tree lined but you can still find your ball when you stray. Fairways and greens are in top shape. Personal GPS recommended as fairway yardage makers are scarce. 1/2 a mile of gravel road to club house so plan on a car wash when you're done. Pace of play was okay.

I had played this course a couple of years ago and remembered it to be in better condition. The front nine was in marginal shape. Taking into consideration the greens had all been topped dressed with sand after being aerated it still felt like the course was tired.
I nearly left at the turn but decided to play. Glad I did. The back nine was in better shape and all in all it was an enjoyable day.
Just not pristine like some of the other reviews stated.

I have played this course in summer and winter months and it is always in top condition. Keep your eyes open and you'll no doubt catch a glimps of a Bob Cat or two. Warm up on the front nine and put on your "A" game for the back. Pace of play can vary from bliss to shoot me now. However it's worth the gamble.

This course is always a pleasure to play. Fairways are always in good condition and greens usually fast and true. Bunkers have so,so sand quality. Pace can get slow at times. Good value!
