Enjoyable day at Palmetto Hall Cupp course. Course was in great shape for this time of year - especially the greens. It was one of those days when we had no one in front of us and the group behinds us we rarely saw.

Course was in great shape. Hilly course with a few blind shots. Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable.

Had an enjoyable round at Bear Creek. Greens and bunkers in very good shape. Pace of play was 3:45 (teed off at 8:30). Spotted rangers several times during the round. Got a fantastic rate thru Golf Now which included a burger and beer after the round. Challenging but fair layout. Will definitely return.

Played as a twosome behind a group of four and the pace of play was reasonable - that considered. Great practice area with a good size range and nice chipping, putting, and bunker areas. Very friendly staff and good restaurant/pub. I'd mark the course as 'average' for this time of year - compared to other courses I've played. Not much sand in bunkers, greens were recently sanded but rolled well and fairways were very thin (as are most courses) probably due to lack of rain. Having said that we enjoyed our round of golf there and would probably return.

I spend time at Hilton Head every March. The Golden Bear course is one we always play at least once. The staff was great and very attentive. Pace of play was excellent with no waiting of any consequence. Course was in good shape when you consider the October hurricane and the lack of rainfall. The greens were in very good shape.
