Played Canyon / Ranch.

Canyon course layout is a joke! Ranch has a few good holes but some gimmicky ones also.

Green conditions were very good. Some fairways nice, but overall nothing I'd recommend

Played in the AM off Blue tees. Very nice layout. A good game off the tee box is required or it will make for a long day.

Ive only played the course once. Though i enjoyed very much, i must play a few more times to see if the overall experience is consistent.

Yes, the course is far off the beaten path from Scottsdale. But hey - its golf!

This course is not in the middle of no where. It is the end of no where.

My home course is Pelican Hill, also designed by Fazio. Pelican wishes their courses were in the condition of Rams Hill. Excellent fairways, nice bunkers and excellent greens that run true.

I have played a lot of courses, including Bandon (s) , Spyglass, Whistling Straits, LACC - and although i wouldn't put it in that league it is by far the best conditioned course in Southern California and a great layout. I would place it more like Quintero or Troon North in Scottsdale.

It is obvious they are not properly managing this as a business. No starter (apparently he leaves at 11) no Marshall, no cart food service. Yet there were plenty of foursomes on the course.

At one time this was a very nice course. Now it's run like a poorly managed muni.

Greens are long, fairways in poor shape.
