Las Vegas Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2017Good value depending on season!!
My buddies and I played here mid-March and the course was in great shape! We had heard that the course can be very dry and not fun to play, but this is only the case once the winter grass has been used for over-seed. The course was lush and green and the greens were excellent - probably running about 9.5-10.5 on the stimp.
The course is very straightforward and one of the nice things about playing a new course is seeing where you are going - this is the case at LVGC as every shot is right in front of you.
We paid 99$ on the golfnow app and that included 18 holes, a cart, rental clubs, and two sleeves of balls (but I travel with ProV's so we gave them away).
Overall, we were very pleased with the value. The course will definitely not blow you away and there are no real memorable holes but it was fun, fair and perfect for a round with rentals! Since we were in Vegas, we obviously played a money game (skins game actually), drank some beer and had a blast. If you're just looking for a fun afternoon on a course thats in good shape and fairly cheap, this is the place. We are all 0-6 handicaps and it was just right. Great atmosphere in the clubhouse and nice driving range!
The worst part of the course is lack of signage - a few times we had to guess where the next hole was but we figured it out - an inexperienced golfer may get lost.
