The Golf Club at North Hampton
Played On 05/06/2017Great course
This course is under new management so I'm not sure if it was their decision to remove the GPS units from the carts, but I sure miss that feature.
Course is a little dry but its been very dry here for months.
Overall I like this course and it was a nice relaxing afternoon for playing 18.
Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh
Played On 12/22/2016Very nice course
My first time playing Oak Marsh @ The Plantation and I was not disappointed. I have now played every single course in Nassau County and this one to me was top two. Course was in very good condition for this time of year and the finishing holes of 16-18 were a lot of fun to play.
The Amelia River Club
Played On 12/22/2012Course laid out very nicely.
I have played Amelia River probably a dozen times. It is one of my favorite courses to play on Amelia Island. It is not as unforgiving as North Hampton for the stray shot, but it's more challenging than the City course for sure. I think it's a good middle ground and when you can find a deal on Golfnow.com you jump at it. Lot's of water and some sand but they don't really come into play unless you hit bad shot after bad shot. I alway's see a lot of wildlife too, gators, hawks, raccoons....etc...
