Riverchase Golf Club
Played On 01/23/2022Has potential, but...
Tee boxes sucks, uneven, all every sandy with almost no grass and very hard ground. I haven't played golf in a course were tee boxes are so uneven, it's ridiculous and disappointed. Sand traps sucks too, no sand on sand traps. If the city of Coppell would invest on tee boxes and add sand to sand traps this could be a very nice course, until then is below average.

Tee boxes are bad, greens are in the worst shape ever... no marshals and pace of play is slow... picture is from the #16 tee boxe.
Tour 18 Dallas
Played On 12/22/2020Tour-18 (true and ugly) 12/22/2020
This sounded like a dream come true. Play 18 of the most exciting PGA tour holes in golf, all on one course. Great idea, right. Well, not everything is as expected.
Tee boxes and fairways were in good condition. The greens appeared to be in the process of being recovering 80% to 90% good shape, firm and fast (very fast), everyone in my group struggled to figure them out. Overall, the greens are getting a lot better and are almost completely back. The bunkers had good sand and they are getting better, but not all bunkers are been raking daily by staff. You should into that Mr. Superintendent. Practice facility and club house are awesome; we had few drinks after our round, good prices, nice staff.
Pricing, I think $70 it is reasonable for a round of golf, because it has an awesome layout and it is a fun course to play. The neighborhood and the concept of the Tour18 is fantastic.
NOW, let talk about why I might NOT to come back to play here again. PACE of PLAY, it was awful, and I don’t think the word AWFUL is the correct one, horrible pace of play. My tee time was at 12:40p, at that tee time, I should have plenty of daylight to finished a round of golf when sun light ends around 5:50pm in the DFW area. Well, that wasn’t the case, we didn’t even finish 18 holes, because poor Pace of Play and it is ashamed because the last 3 holes in this course are the most exited holes in the Tour-18, replicas for the Augusta National #11, #12 and #13.
What really tic-me-off was that I paid $140 to play with my son as Christmas Present and we didn’t have the chance to finish it and never got an apology or nothing.
Mr. Superintendent if you read this, a normal golf hole will, on average, take a group of professional golfers around 10 minutes and a group of average amateurs around 15 minutes. This equates to an 18-hole round of golf taking anywhere from 3 to 4 1/2 hours and this is not happening on the course you are managing.
To solve this problem I think you should put every golfer on schedule at the time of tee off by creating a card that can be place inside the cart “Where the flag placement is” with times of where the golfer should be every 4 holes. Give those cards to the Marshal at the #1 tee and have him explain what that card means and the effect it has if you don’t keep your pace of play.
If the Marshal is call for slow pace of play, the marshal can track the group that is playing slow and force them to move forward to the next hole/tee box, if they are no in the time with the card it was provided at the time of tee off. (check Bridlewood GC, they are using similar system)
Until then, I WILL NOT recommend this course even if it is in fantastic shape, just because a 5+ hours of golf is not good. I was told and read in some reviews; that pace of play at Tour 18 is one of the most complaining the course has.

Golf Course superintended need to work with the bunkers. There is no sand in them, very, very hard ground. Very good speed on the green, a little TLC need it on some of the tee box . Driving ranger sucks, it really sucks.
We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back!

I like this course a lot; but the driving range sucks, really sucks. You have to hit golf balls from a mat but it’s like hitting from the concrete, I didn’t like it what so ever. I didn’t finished all the balls from the bucket because I was afraid to damage my clubs and if you have the chance to hit balls from the grass the terrain is uneven, not good ether. But I believe that if the course management put very good quality golf mats it will benefit everyone. That's way I'll rank the course low..

This course is very good, but I been noticing that the sand traps are getting out of control, in bad shape.. I hope the superintendent take care of this issue!! Today I'll give the course 7 of 10...
Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
Played On 05/07/2017Tour 18 Dallas
Played On 05/25/2016This course has potential to be one of the best in this area, but is not :(
This GC is unique. It has all the elements of a world class course for been a replica course from PGA Courses. BUT maybe the worst greens, bunkers I have ever been on. Bunkers are in terrible condition, the greens are very slow due to sand, and not healthy. It’s a shame this course is like this in such a nice area. I hope the superintendent fix this soon.
The Timber Links at Denton
Played On 08/31/2014This is a 9 hole golf course, u need to play twice if you want to play 18 holes.
The course was nice, the only problem or what I didn’t like was that they over water 75% of the course and is it was a swamp in tee box and fairways. If they can control the water issue it could be a good course to develop your game

It was a prefect experience playing at Indian Creek. The weather was fantastic mid 70's low 80's, the course looks awesome and it was a very good steady pace, 3.5 hrs 18 holes. I got a hot deal at Golf Now that was impossible to beat.
Riverside Golf Club

Texas Woman's University Golf Course
Played On 3/17/2013Very poor maintenance
It was my 1st and my last time at TWU Golf Course… Very bad Tee box and the greens were horrible. The grass outside the golf course look better than the entire course… (I give them F or D-) Has potential to be a very good beginner golf course, but not in the condition it’s right now...
