Came back to this course as I enjoyed playing it last year; what I remembered was excellent layout and a course that was very well maintained. But the course if pretty run down now. The fairways are like cement in many spots with no grass; ok I did a pick and place at spots since I am no PRO and this is Texas. But when you reach the greens, things get even worse. Most greens have weeds so putting is more about luck. What is most vivid is Green #2 (Par 3) and Green #18 (Par 5); Green #2 is diseased which is not very difficult to fix but shows they dont maintain this course well; Green #5 is sanded on the front side so anything you hit pulls the ball right and luck of the draw if it will even go through to the hole. This course has promise, but it needs to overhaul its maintenance.

I used to play Ridgeview Ranch regularly when I lived next to it 10yrs ago, so hadnt played it since 2008. I remembered a nice course with ok conditions. I was very pleasantly surprised; this is a great course and it has been maintained extremely well. It was a 100 degrees so for us the pace of play was excellent as there werent a lot of people around; finished in 3.25hrs, but even if it takes 4hrs on a normal day I would consider this well worth it. And every other hole has ice cold drinking water!!

Couldnt have asked for anything better on Thanksgiving weekend. Played 18 holes in 4hrs 10min. Marshalls all over the course ensured pace of play was good. Course itself is challenging and the winds made it more challenging, but it is in excellent shape. The staff at the clubhouse was extremely friendly. I will be coming back!

One of the best courses just outside the DFW area, but well worth the drive. There is obviously some construction on-going which can be distracting at times, but the course itself is in excellent shape. It is not a hard course but it does require you to place the ball strategically in order to take advantage. Normally I would give a 5 star since I play here at least 3-4 times per year, but this day some of the greens were sanded so judgement of speed was a little challenging from one green to the next.
