Have played Old South every year we have visited Hilton Head. As always, it was in great shape, the staff was great and the golf was outstanding. If you want a test of your game on a great venue play this course.

Sunridge Canyon is a demanding track. You must judge your distances correctly and have a great ball striking day or you will be in the desert most of the time. A number of blind shots also come into play.
The greens still had speed even though they were bumpy from aeriation. The course was in outstanding condition for this time of year.
The course never lets up but I would go back again and again to play this gem.

Wolf Creek is a great test of golf. From the gold tees every club in my bag was used. Demanding tee shots, accurate irons, fairway woods and precise putting are all needed to navigate this course.
The traps had not been worked on and previous knowledge helps navigate many of the blind tee shots.

This course is a typical Pete Dye design. Tee shots must be precise, approach shots to elevated greens are very demanding and if you are lucky enough to hold the green, your work has just begun. Greens are fast and undulating. From the white tees it is only a little over 6000 yards but is a slope of 136. Some holes on the back are very short and a couple par 5's could be long par 4's. Would love to play it again.

North Star is an excellent course and facility. Even with it being early December the course was in excellent condition. A wide variety of tee boxes let you choose a distance good for your group. Many great holes. We really enjoy this course. Our group would play it more but it is simply overpriced during the season.

For November 27 in Ohio the day was great. 56 degrees,some wind and the course was in good condition . Leaves were blown from the course and everything was good. Head pro is a great guy.

It took 2 1/2 hours to play 9 holes. I understand it is a City of Phoenix course, but I was surprised the cart path were either cinder or dirt. Greens very bumpy and full of ball marks. As you can tell I did not enjoy myself. I left after 9 holes due to the constant waiting to play.

Having cart path only was the only negative of the day. Just coming out of overseeding, I found the course in very good condition. Tee boxes and fairways were great and the greens were in excellent condition but slow. I really enjoyed the day and would love to play this course again.

Went off at 6:32 and my partner and I walked off 18 at 8:56!! Even coming out of overseeding, the course was in great shape. Tees and greens were a little shaggy but everything else was great. The one thing I would like to see is another tee. You either had to play about 6300 (white tees) or over 7000 ( blue tees). Very fair landing areas, long holes and greens can be severe when cut and rolled.
Can't wait to play it again.

Ocotillo is an outstanding course and complex. Even though it is overseeding time in the area this course is in great shape. The course has a wide variety of holes and great scenery.
I would love too play this again on my next visit b

I am sure I caught the course at the wrong time. It has some good holes, fair landing areas and decent traps. However, when I played it all grass was dormant and they were preparing to close in 3 days to begin over seeding.
I am sure it is better than what I experienced.

I love the layout of this course. Having played it many times when it was known as Cook's Creek, it now is a shadow of itself. Tee boxes are beat up, traps are very poor and course maintenance is lacking. All that said, the greens were great and I would definitely play it again.

I have played Eagle Mountain before and loved it. It is truly one of my favorite courses. This time the fairways had not recovered from slit-seeding and top dressing the fairways. Iron shots from the fairway were very difficult due to the thin, sandy lies. Greens were also slow and a little bumpy. They had not recovered from being aeriated.
Still, I would play this course any time I had a chance.

Greatly enjoyed the round and the course. Palmer course has fair driving areas, various styles of holes and excellent greens. Would gladly recommend this course to anyone.

I find it hard to believe this course is rated 3 stars. It has more dirt and bare areas than grass. Greens are like the Tarmac at Sky Harbor Airport. It may have been a quality course at one time, but the passing of time and lack of maintenance have made it a course needing help.

Legend Trail is an excellent test of golf. Blind shots, elevation changes and numerous bunkers force you to bring your "A" game. Course was in great shape and the views are outstanding. I highly recommend this venue.

Absolutely loved the course and facility. Large fairways, great greens and terrific conditions. Can't wait to return.

This course was in terrible condition. Rye grass did not come in, there fore every lie was a tight lie off of dormant grass. Fairways still had holes from aerification, greens were still marked from slit seeding and top dressed. Greens basically were sand running at about a 14 on the stimp.
By far worst round of golf I have experienced. You would think the course would reduce the fee for these conditions but it was still the normal rate. WOW!!
