About
I can only be successful by keeping the ball in play. Since I've had both of my hips replaced, I no longer have much distance. I am still struggling to maintain directional consistency. This is still my favorite sport to play and I get out at least once a week during the summer.

Elk's Golf Club
Played On 08/23/2013This place needs some work.
The layout of this course is not bad and rather challenging. Most of the greens need assistance, with dead spots and/or crab grass clumps (cut down) affecting putts. Most fairways (while cut nicely) were like hitting off of my lawn, not a typical fairway. This leads to imprecise shots and a high score. The basics are there, but the course needs some serious work.
Nutters Crossing Golf Course
Played On 08/13/2013Course is starting to show some wear and tear
Overall a nice course, with wide open fairways and no outrageously long holes. There are a few greens and tee boxes that surprisingly need some attention. This is a bit out of character for the course and hopefully it gets rectified over the off season.
Wood Creek Golf Links
Played On 8/8/2013Slowly Coming Back
This is a great little executive course that was sadly shut down for a bit due to bankruptcy issues (for the entire community). Now under new management, the course is slowly getting back to what it was. Only nine holes are currently open as the greens are almost finished their refurbishment. The entire course is scheduled to be open October 1, 2013. As it is now, you play the same nine holes twice, one time per tee box.

I appreciate the layout as it is not too challenging, but hard enough to make you work.
