First time playing. Staff was very friendly. Course was pretty flat but still challenging. Pace of play was average despite waiting between shots, we were a twosome sandwiched between foursomes. Would play again.

We usually play here a couple of times each visit from the Pacific Northwest. While more expensive after the pandemic, this is still a good course for mid handicappers. Short but tight fairways put accuracy at a premium. New owner is restoring the course & facilities. LOTS of maintenance folks on the course., but did not get in our way.

Shadow mountain continues to be a solid golf value in the Palm Springs area. While not the longest of venues, it is challenging enough with the palm tree lines fairways. My wife and I play here regularly when vacationing. New ownership is dedicated to updating the facilities currently under construction. Overall, the course was in good shape, and we will continue to play here in the future.

May be a short track, but there are plenty of Palm trees that border most of the fairways making this a tight little gem. The cost of golf in Palm Springs has risen significantly making this course a viable option. The tee boxes were a bit on the rough side, but overall, the course was in good condition. Greens were slower than in the past. Will be coming back again as the other courses are too expensive for what they offer.

My wife and I enjoy playing here for a change of pace. Some of the tee boxes could use some help, but other than that the course is in good condition for the time of year. Greens ran true. Pace was excellent as a foursome we finished in about four hours. Interesting that they would not provide ice, but gave us bottles of water and had a beverage cart? We definitely will return.

My wife and I have been playing here for over 10 years now. Conditions have always been good. Staff mostly friendly with a few exceptions. Pace is great with waiting only when we are a twosome stuck behind foursomes. Tee boxes to suit anyone's game. Not thrilled with the new restaurant menu, but we come to golf. Look for deals and you won't be disappointed.

Always a fun course. Some tight tee shots make course management a must here. Definitely will continue to play when the price is right on GolfNow.

While the breakfast food in the restaurant was very good, it did take an extra long time to get it.

For this time of year the course was in excellent condition. The starter was extremely nice and even suggested we start on the back nine due to a tournament in front of us. Worked out beautifully!

Definitely will return in the near future!

I anticipated an extremely difficult course so was pleasantly surprised at how forgiving it really was. Don't get me wrong, if you wonder to far off the fairway, you may not make it to the green in regulation, but you will have a shot to get back into play.

Plenty of width on almost every hole. Par 3's are challenging. Overall a very pleasant golf experience.

Overall this is a great course. One BIG problem. We had no idea that the back nine was closed! As a matter of fact, the starter told us it had been closed since MAY for irrigation canal work. We played the front twice; first time from the WHITE and the second time from the BLUE/WHITE combo just to shake things up a bit. OH, and they were working on all the bunkers and native areas too...

Overall this is a very nice course with tight fairways and undulating greens. WARNING - walking this 18 is difficult due to the many hills you must navigate. There is also lengthy walks from green to tee. My only negative was that they had watered the greens too much and some of the fringe areas were so soft you could not walk on them.

This course has great views and aesthetic beauty. Staff is normally very friendly. But on the day of play our starter must have been having a bad morning, not very cheerful. Over all the course was in great shape, as usual. Look for a "Hot Deal" on GolfNow to get the best rice. A. "Must play" when visiting the valley.

One of the best kept secrets in the valley. While the course is not very long, it is still challenging with the undulating greens and tight fairways. And you cannot beat the price! Staff is always friendly. Oh, did I mention the free range balls? Pace of play has always been excellent as well. Give this course a try, you just might be surprised!
