Twin Isles Country Club

Challenging course. Very nice greens. Greens well maintained and great color. Played with 3 members who helped guide me as it was a course with an abundance of doglegs and bordering water hazards. Nice wide fairways though. Drought conditions had taken a toll on the fairways. Great conditioning in the bunkers.

Wow! The greens were almost like formica. Very fast.
One might need to TRY to adjust. Nice layout. Well bunkered. Some waste areas but really not too much in play. Good course for every ability level. Round was enjoyable.

Fun round! Greens in Regulation? Only if you are GOOD. This is an older mature course without large greens. You could fit 3 or 4 of these greens into most of today's designs. They are sloped front to back except for a few that are larger most likely were part of a redesign. Fairways are roomy for the most part. The hazard challenge are moderate. Bunkers are frequent but in great condition. Play here.
Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Oaks/Marsh Course
Played On 02/05/2015After the storm
We played right after an overnight soaker. Ponds were high and water everywhere. Bunkers became water hazards. We broke the rules and lifted out no penalties, otherwise add 7/8 strokes. Very nice course. Many out working. Pumping water and fixing repairing the bunkers. Great range. Nice staff. Play here if you can.

Cute short course. Lots of water and bunkers, which were better than the bunkers of any course I have recently played. The course is quite busy. When we finished the PM players were waiting for carts. Nice staff. Driving range is irons only and in reality might good for many golfers. Put the driver away on several holes. Nice shotmaking course. It helps if you play the first time with a member or with someone who is familiar with the layout.

Fair course. Wide fairways and abundant H2O.Greens are tough to read and there are subtle contours that make putting and chipping challenging. In my opinion a bit overpriced compared to other courses that are in a bit better condition. Bunkers are such a disappointment compared to the rest of the course.
You could hunt for seashells of good size. Also there a large chunks of coral that could be cleared. I played poorly enough that I was well aware of the bunker conditions. Overall still enjoyable round.

Very good conditions. Good speedy greens. Very attractive course. Many bunkers and acres of waste area. Challenging and plays long. Put it on your itinerary. Good price and better on Golf Now. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Sabal Trace Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/21/2014Greens need considerable work to merit any real positive comments.
Golf Now single player price was a good rate for the course. The layout is quite good. The only drawback is the turf conditions are poor, especially the greens. It is still a good place to start if you are from the north and want a sort of practice round to test for ball flight accuracy at sea level. The greens do not prepare you for anything you will experience at nearby courses. By all means check out Golf Now.
Riverwood Golf Club
Played On 03/18/2014Pretty course. Very good condition.
Great practice facilities for all aspects of the game.
Check in over an hour prior to tee time for as good a pre-game workout as you wish. Range use is included as part of your guest fee. Nice pro shop staff.
I was greeted by name as I entered the shop to register. Playing partners were great and very helpful. we are renters here and have had a fantastic time. There is far more than just a great golf course. This is not a course for beginners. It does not play as tight as it appears. After you play it once you will be less intimidated on your next round.

Good course. Lots of space, not intimidating. Greens very good. Staff was extremely accommodating. Lots of water hazards but the fairways have large safe areas. Many bunkers with large faces so try to avoid them. Our only criticism being plugged unplayable lies in the bunker faces as the sand in soft and fine. Very nice course. A must play when in the area. Also worth a drive if farther away. Do not try to walk it. Distances between several holes is extreme.

Cute short course. Good Value. Good greens.
Probably some of the best conditioned bunkers I have ever played on and that is over 200 courses
and several in the top 100 in the world. (Gorgeous white fine grained firm sand.) They have a great little TIKI bar for and after round toddy.with nice folks. A good day.
