The coures had a very diverse layout with a combination of hills, water and sand. The fairways are wide enough you can bang away, but a good approach shot is a must.The greens were challenging with slightly above average speed. The pace of play was good. My foursome enjoyed it so much we played 36.

Sanctuary Lakes, Troy, MI. proved to be a solid test of golf. The course has generous landing areas for tee shots but the approach shot into the green presented some challenges.
Nice elevation changes, nice pace of play, an enjoyable round of golf.

The course lay-out was beautiful, it fit your eye. The sight lines from shot to shot allowed for good decision making. The greens held our approach shots, but were fast and slippery. My foursome had a great experience at Paint Creek gold club.
