Hawk's Landing Golf Club

I would have liked to be able to use the practice putting green but that had a tournament. The pace of play was slow and they didn't have a ranger out there to move things along. Overall not a bad experience. If i was staying close by it would be a convenient good quality course to play. Personally for me I preferred Magnolia at Disney and Crooked Cat at Orange County National better.

This course used to be in great condition but this is no longer the case. The greens were recently aerated and once healed will be by far the best part of the course. Tee boxes are uneven and full of St Augustine grass. My yard is St. Augustine grass, utterly ridiculous. Weeds everywhere. I'm not sure what happened but this course is just awful. It's funny that the lady in the pro shop told me before my round that the course was in great shape. Really? Compared to what?
Great track but the greens are a mess
I can not recommend anyone to go here to play until they completely redo the greens. THEY ARE JUST AWFUL!

This is one of my favorite courses in this area. Always in great condition and love the layout. If your struggling this course will eat you up. When your playing well you have a great time!

Enjoy the layout with generously wide fairways. The greens and bunkers are where the difficulty comes into play.

I like the layout but the greens need some work. They are on the slow side. Great course for the money and I will definitely come back.

the layout is fine but members are not friendly and pace of play was brutal. You'd think they were putting for PGA money.

Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club

this is a nice golf course so long as you stay out of the bunkers. Since the day this course opened they have the worst bunkers in the tri-county area. They are hard clay and rocks, not a spec of sand to be found anywhere. I just can't understand when you have such a nice golf course why you don't fill the bunkers with sand. I'm pretty sure it's not that expensive. Go figure.

Overall the course is in decent shape but with the greens being so poor it makes for a not so fun round of golf. I would not go back even for $17.

The Reserve at Orange Lake Resort
Played On 11/23/2013Slowest greens I've played. Don't waste your time or money!
While the overall course conditions were okay, the greens were beyond slow. The course design is very good but when the greens are that slow it's not fun to play. My playing partner had a 40 foot putt that took a full backswing and could barely get it to the hole, " with no control of where the putt was going".
I lost my interest in playing before we had made the turn, The greemskeeper should be fired!
I don't understand how so many people gave this golf course a good review. Were we really playing the same course?
Thank you playing and for your comments about Hawk's Landing. Although you may not see a Player Assistant roaming the golf course, we have the Visage GPS system on each golf cart and our team closely monitors pace of place and positions of golf cars from the golf shop, bagroom and our leadership team also have monitors so we can send messages and alerts to our guests or make visits on the golf course when necessary, but we do apologize that the pace was a little slower for you on this day.
