Although it was raining lightly when we started, it was a very enjoyable day on the course. The course was in good shape, although the tee boxes needed some repair (people should use the sand provided, it does help). I did notice that most of the spike cleaners on the tee boxes did not have any brushes on them so I spent a lot of time using a tee to clean my spikes. I thought that the greens were in really good shape considering it is the middle of August and they have had a summer of play. The sand traps could use a little more sand, the couple that I found myself in were hard packed (partly due to the rain of course) and the sand was shallow. I did like the slightly different set up of 1 par 5 on the front and 3 on the back. Par was still a conventional 72 but the different mix was nice. Overall, I think it is a very nice course and I would definitely play it again.
