Great Course

Love this track. I live in South Florida and regularly play the East and West course at Jacaranda.
Always in great shape tee to green and fantastic layout. West a little tighter and shorter, East more open and longer. Both a great challenge. Got a great deal on Golfnow which made it a good value too.

Not your average pitch and putt

This is short executive course, a place to come and practice the short game and nothing more. A few short par 4's and a par 5 that should really be a long par 4 and otherwise all par 3's. It's run by the same management company that runs Plantation Preserve and in this regard, the course really shines. It is in impeccable shape with firm fast greens and well manicured fairways. The rough can be a little splotchy though. It runs through a community that is not the nicest so views are not that great. In the summer you can find deals to play here for under $20 so its a pretty good value. No driving range. GPS on the carts. Have had a brunch there before and it was delicious.

Excellent Course

Played here at 7AM (first tee time of the day) in muggy August. Starting early means less heat and faster play. They partnered me with a member (this is a semi-private club) and we were on our way. (bad news is driving range doesn't open until 730AM so didn't get to hit any balls first).

This course is set up as 3 nine hole courses, each it seems with its own character. We started on holes 19-27. A long but very open stretch of holes with fairly large greens protected by bunkers. Very little water and almost no homes. A very fair and picturesque opening stretch. Then move on to holes 1-9. This is a much more narrow stretch of more difficult holes with more water and houses and smaller tricker greens. Still manage to shoot very well (thanks to the tips from my playing partner!).

The course was in fantastic shape from tee boxes, fairways, bunkers to greens. I would say that the opening nine greens were playing much slower than the closing nine (apparently the latter had been punched many month ago). They closed the middle nine (10-18) for maintenance so I did not get to play those. Also I did not go into the clubhouse after the round but seemed very beautiful.

All in all a great experience, played in well under 3 hours so clearly pace of play was not an issue. Will certainly be back when I'm in the area.

Great course for the price

Course is a typical Florida course layout with bunkers and water to deal with. Tee boxes were a bit spotty but fairways and greens were immaculate. Greens are VERY slow but I think that's typical for Naples courses or at least the resort type courses. Service at the pro shop and starter were exceptional. Played here during peak season so expecting a 5 hour round. I live in South Florida and know what pace of play is during this time of year. Made a 7AM tee time with two others in my group and we were done by 945AM. Pace of play was amazing. Highly recommend this little gem.

Unique Florida golfing experience

Two amazing courses. Red is a bit tighter and a more interesting layout in my opinion. Blue is a bit wider and maybe more forgiving. Aside a few very memorable holes especially the par 3's, not as nice a layout as Red. Both offer a tough test of golf. Some tee boxes were surprisingly ratty, and I found a few patchy spots on the fairway. I had to actually find some relief at one point due to dirt patches around the greens. Greens were in immaculate shape and rolled true and FAST. The clubhouse is gorgeous and service and food at the restaurant were fantastic. Played 36 holes, no caddie, pull carts only. Started at 810AMD and finished the last hole of the day at 545PM and barely made it before the sun went down. Staff was still very helpful and helped us load up our golf clubs. Played here during peak season and pace of play was very reasonable. This was an exhausting way to experience Streamsong but given our tight travel schedule, this was the only way we could play both courses in one day (black was not open yet). Doable but very tiring! This is really a unique golfing experience, especially in Florida where golf courses are usually flat flat flat. If you can make it out there I highly recommend it.

Ok course, needs some TLC

Came here on a Monday for a round of golf with some friends. Pretty out of the way but was told it was worth the drive. The clubhouse is pretty impressive. Though I didn't stay to eat there I suspect it's above average. Pro shop was well stocked. People were very friendly. Rates are very affordable and include all you can hit at the range. Nice chipping and putting green. Course has a pretty interesting layout, especially the front nine. It's built in the middle of swamp land and there's a lot of really challenging holes weaving through the swamp. Tee boxes were well maintained as were the fairways. I hit a couple of rough patches on the greens and a few crusty bunkers (that's why not a five star review) but overall the course was in great shape. The back nine is next to a park/tennis courts/baseball fields. I'm a fan of nice views on a golf course so this doesn't give you that swamp feel that I was looking for. Back 9 is also a little more boring with less challenging holes and more straightforward holes, nothing too memorable.

Overall a great value. Problem is getting all the way out there as it really is in the middle of nowhere but if you are in the area or within a reasonable drive, I would give it a try for sure.
