Vacation golf at its best

We come out to this facility every time we're in town, and have never been disappointed. We are always greeted as if we play there every day. The course is in beautiful shape- we played The Sun course. The greens were fast but held the ball. There were only 2 of us and a foursome in front of us. Several times throughout the round, the marshals came around to check and make sure the pace of play was adequate for us, and even offered to move us through if needed.

There were plenty of water stations, but we also had cart services throughout our time.

The practice areas were fully stocked with ample hitting areas.

Overall, between the great courses and friendly staff, we will continue to play this course whenever we're in town.

Nice course, not so nice facility

We played this course while on our vacation. We're not residents so we paid more. The greeter in the pro shop was welcoming and cheerful, but that's where it stopped. We arrived in ample time to warm up (approximately 1 hour). We went out to the driving range, but there were no practice balls, so we started out at the chipping green. After about 15 minutes, we went back to the range but the balls have still not been restocked. When they finally did come out, he started filling empty spaces, rather than filling bins where people were waiting. The balls looked like they had been sitting in a pond, and were chunked up. When he was done, we thanked him, but didn't receive any acknowledgement.

The course itself is in great shape. The greens rolled consistently, and the fairways were lush, however, there weren't any water stations, so you had to rely on the cart service for beverages. She came around once through the whole round, and during that time she seemed like it was an inconvenience to be there.

Additionally, the public can walk through the course.
Maybe it's not the control of management, but at one point, we had to stop almost mid swing because a pedestrian popped up in front of our tee box while we were teeing off. When the round was over, we did have a very pleasant gentleman there to greet us, and offer to assist us with our bags.

Overall, the course was enjoyable, but given that most interactions with staff were unpleasant, we will probably not be returning.

Thank you for coming in and playing at Rhodes Ranch while visiting. We genuinely apologize if you experienced anything less than phenomenal customer service, because that is what demand of ourselves here. Please know this is the exception and not the norm. We do hope to see you back soon to show you that.
