Las Vegas National Golf Course
Played On 01/25/2017Fun, reasonable and close to the Strip
Played here two consecutive days last week. Sun was out, temperatures were only 50 degrees or less, and no wind. Perfect! For a 100 golfer, this was great for me and my wife. Relatively long holes but not much to get in trouble with. Fast surfaces. Very classic old Vegas surroundings. Lots of history. Tiger won Vegas Invitational here in 1996. Under $20 taxi each way from Mirage. Great staff, nice pro shop, very good food. Fun.
Richmond Forest Golf Club

We love this course. Wish we had known about it a long time ago. Very nicely kept. Plenty of sand, water and distance, but fun to play. Not too narrow. Greens aren't too tricky, but must be read properly. Some greens are tricky to reach because of the beaches. Looks like a Northern Michigan course.
Golf Summerlin - Eagle Crest Course
Played On 01/25/2015Fun, Fast course. Tricky greens
We were in Vegas on a long weekend and set up 2 days of golf. First day at Primm, second day here. Paired up with a couple of locals - Mike and Jason - who were a blast and very laid back. Take an extra sleeve of balls. Some very tight fairways. A couple of the par 3's were long. The weather was fantastic (vs. Detroit, where it was 20 degrees!). If you want to work your short game, this is a great course. We had a good time.
