Whispering Oak at Verandah

Course is in great shape right now with a nice variety of holes. Wide fairways but a miss in certain spots will leave you with a obstructed second. Greens are challenging. Overall one of the top courses in the area. Highly recommend!
San Carlos Golf Club

Good overall course for the price. Nice open layout that doesn't punish you for mistakes.
Egret Golf Course at Pelican Preserve Golf Club

Wide fairways but you can get yourself in trouble in certain spots.Was in good condition but very slow greens, staff was very friendly. Wasn't anything spectacular but a nice course overall.
Old Orange at Verandah

One of the nicest courses in SWFL. First time playing Old Orange, difficulty lies in hidden water you can't see off the tee. Personally, I like Whispering Oak better, but both great courses and worth playing.
Cross Creek Country Club

This is a nice executive course if you can a low price. the back 9 is almost all temporary greens which we weren't warned about when we booked out tee time
Palmetto-Pine Country Club

Course was in good shape and fun to play. If you can find a cheap rate then its worth it, but at higher rates there are definitely better options. GPS on the carts was a bonus
