No one there, poor condition except for greens.
It's April, perfect golf weather, no golfers.

Realizing this is transition time for the grass from rye to Bermuda, it was still unacceptable conditions. The fairways and greens had NO grass on them in many places, and what grass was there was so sparse it might as well not have been there.
Water is the answer to make Bermuda grow back in, and it's quite obvious they aren't applying enough. I've played 4 courses in the last two weeks in the valley and they were all in better shape. Save your money, go somewhere else until November when the rye is overseeded again.

Congratulations to the new ownership for all the improvements to the course. Fairways and greens were in mostly very good condition, rough mowed to a good length and the new sand in the traps works like it should. You can actually hit a blast shot.
Tee boxes were the only things that need some more work, some of them pretty torn up.

After the brown out on the fairways a couple of weeks ago due to fire ant control, it's back to being green again.
Fairways are fast, greens are fast.
Overall a good course to play.

Wide open fairways, in great condition, excellent greens and tee boxes. Only negative is sand traps had little sand, so club bounced instead of going under the ball.
Enjoyed the round very much, would definitely play here again for the right price.

Disappointing condition compared to just two weeks ago. Fairways are dried out, especially on the back nine.
It's Bermuda grass time, get some water on the fairways and they will be great like they were a few weeks ago.
Otherwise, it was an enjoyable round and the course has improved greatly.

Good course to work on your irons, chipping and putting.

Fun to play in 3 hours or less

Played two of the courses that spend a lot of time in the wash, up and down the hills. Not the greatest of layouts.
Overall in good condition.
Played in 4 hours, so pace was good.

Fairways were very sparse, hardly any grass. Tee boxes were torn up. Sand traps were inconsistent, with little sand in most of them.
Disappointing as this course is usually in excellent condition, especially coming out of overseed. It was like some fairways didn't get seeded or it didn't take.
Greens were pretty good, however.

The course is in excellent condition overall. The greens are very smooth, medium speed.
We enjoyed our round very much.

Getting better all the time. Look and feel of the course is improving. Staff was great. Played in 3:15, as a twosome.

Avoid like the plague. Some of the worst condition I've ever seen a course in. Wouldn't play here again if it was free,,!!!

With multiple sets of tees, a golfer can always find the distance that best suits his/her game.
Fairways were a little soft with no run out, but in very good condition. Rough isn't too punitive. Greens good at a moderate speed.
Fun course to play for any level of golfer.

It looks like the lack of money is affecting the course conditions. The greens are almost gone on several holes, lack of water, fertilizer, attention?
Fairways are good, tee boxes need work.
The possibility of the course closing may be influencing how much money and time is spent on upkeep at this time. It will be sad if the owners lose the battle, as this is a fun little heritage course to play. Right in the heart of Palm Desert.

Play it now before it gets burned out during the summer. Greens were very smooth and rolled true, moderate speed.
This is a shorter, straight forward, old style course with smallish greens.
Played in 3 hours as a 3-some.

Short, but challenging due to all the water features.
Played in 2.5 hours and had a great time.

The best parts of the course are fairways and greens. Greens smallish by todays standards, but smooth and putt true, reasonably fast. Not much break on most of them.
Bad...tee boxes and the rough. Most of the tee boxes aren't lever, full of holes, little grass.
The rough is so bad you can't stand to take your cart into it, as it's full of gopher holes, bumps you can't see, seriously jars you.
It's a simple straight forward layout, the course is right in front of you. Can be enjoyable if you stay in fairway.

Two of the prettiest par 3's in the valley on the Resort course. Overall a nice course to play, generous fairways, greens good, moderately fast.
Overall conditions are what is expected for this time of year in the desert.
Good practice facility, carts good, ice in the cooler.

What a nice day and experience at this fun and challenging golf course.
Greens were perfect, fairways excellent, although a little soft. Ball picked up mud several times, probably because it had been so hot this week they had been watered heavily. Sand was very good, tee boxes perfect.
Nothing to complain about at all..
We'll be back for sure.
