Wish we knew ahead of time that the greens had been sanded the day before. At this time of the year, it is wise to call ahead and ask if just sanded. Other than that the course was enjoyable to play.

Course requires you to hit over water canals. Make sure you bring extra balls. Try not to get into the thickets because you cannot find your ball.

Bunkers were challenging. Wide fairways, bunkers were strategically located to where the average player would have to think through the second and third shots. Beautiful scenery for playing, good weather, slow golf carts.

There was a staff member that greeted me by my name. Direction was given where to check-in. It was just a nice first time experience. Greens were in good shape considering this time of year. Water hazards were spectacular. Rate of play was very good. Golf carts were slow. Fairways were wide, sand traps were firm not hard which was nice.

You have to think it thru and not power thru this course. We had a foursome and rate of play was 4 hours. Greens were good, fairways were in excellent shape. This course is such a joy to play.

We played the whites, and we still felt it played long. The few water hazards were difficult.

Greens were rough and recent maintenance and sanding. Sand traps were brutal which took two shots to get out of them.

We played 18 holes, standard par 3 course, no trees but lots of challenging holes. There is a lot of undulation which makes the course fun to play.

Water features had bright green algae and had an odor to them. Course was fun to play, trees provided shade throughout the course on a hot day which is important. No GPS on carts and on the day I played there were no beverage carts. There was a distraction on three of the holes because of screaming children at the water park right next store.

Overall, the course was a surprise on how nicely it played. We will play this course again in the winter.

Course was well maintained. Water features were well placed. You have to think through the course. My next trip to the course I will play more strategically rather than bomb through it. Greens were going through summer transition, making putting difficult. Slope rating was accurate for the course. Several holes I felt the slope rating could be multiplied by ten. All in all, great fun was had and we will recommend to friends.

THIS IS A FUN COURSE FOR THE MONEY. A QUALIT Y COURSE. IT IS CHALLENGING AND FUN.

The bunkers needed work, they were firm, not powdery. Even though the slope rating was 119 it seemed to play like 130. The Marshal's kept play moving, the few water features were subtle but deadly because you could not see them until you were upon them especially a first time player. Several holes the view was very pleasing. A couple of holes had houses closer to the fairway than they should have been and there were warning signs that the golfer was responsible for any damage caused. Mostly, the course was open and very enjoyable. Several holes you had to think not just bomb.

Fairways were in good condition. Water features were very interesting but not challenging. Bunkers were challenging because the sand was in poor condition. My experience was on the royal and mountain courses and were rather flat.

The course needed attention which was surprising for this time of year and considering the surroundings it does not meet the quality standards of the neighborhood. For the average golfer, the course needs quite a bit of attention for this time of year it appears that the lack of water, proper mowing and maintenance has taken its toll.

Sand traps were indeed traps. Length of course was a good feature. Beautiful views of the mtns. while playing. Very well maintained facility. Can't wait to have the opportunity to play the course again.

Wide fairways which are very forgiving. Some very large greens, placement of pins made approach very challenging.
