Cardinal Creek Golf Course - South/Center
Played On 07/03/2016Great Course for the Value
Even though this course is in need of some maintenance it is still always a great play. Not much you can do about the lack of water other than water, bull but there is only so much you can do when it's 80-90 degrees on a daily basis and no rain. I expect that when I go back this fall or next spring that it will be in much better condition. Still a an overall 4. Other reviews that state this place is a cow pasture are an injustice to this course. It is by no means a CC that is privately funded and can be in peak conditions year round. If you enjoy a round of golf where the course will challenge you, and the greens roll true then this is your place. Played early in the morning and watched them hand water and hand roll the greens as we played. Keep up the good work Cardinal Creek.
Balmoral Woods Country Club
Played On 07/01/2016Great Course with a challenge
This course hands down is worth every penny. Course was in great shape and pace of play was about 4 hours.
Coyote Run Golf Course
Played On 06/19/2016Must Play Golf Course
It was 90 degrees out and a full tee sheet. We had a great time on a well maintained course. Staff and Rangers made sure pace of play wasn't an issue as well as offering water refills on a day when it was extremely hot. Not enough words to describe this place. I can't believe that as much as I play that this was the first time I have been here.
South Shore Country Club
Played On 05/29/2016Great Course for Everyone's Skill Level
Although at first this looks like a course that is very unkept and below average. Don't let the appearance of the old clubhouse fool you. The course is in great shape with a few areas that need some work. Even though it is very straight and short, the elevation changes make it a slight challenge. With properly placed water, bunkers, and hills every hole on this course poses a challenge to even the best golfers. Had a great time playing this round with my dad and will definitely go back and play.
Beechwood Golf Course
Played On 08/16/2015Always a great time at the Beach!
Beechwood is always a great course. With the lack of rain we have had some spots were very hard and getting a tee in the ground was near impossible in some spots. The greens as always were impeccable. The only thing that could make this place any better would be to have a place to eat on site where you can enjoy food and beverage after your round. If that's all you need I would say your doing pretty good.
Chariot Run
Played On 05/17/2015So glad I went here
So a little gold trip to southern Indiana included this gem that wasn't even on our list. What started as a weekend of playing Both Champions Point and Covered Bridge, both of which are Fuzzy Zoeller designs. My father and I ended up not playing either because of aerating. So our hotel recommended Chariot Run. This was by far the best recommendation of the weekend. We were blown away by how awesome this place is. For a links style course it is very well laid out and is a must play when visiting the Louisville area. Even though it is $59 compared to the $85 at the aforementioned courses, I would say that it is not only a better value, but it is a better course than either of the two.
Pebble Brook Golf Club - South Course
Played On 05/15/2015Great Layout. Good times!
This course has it all. It's challenging, well kept, fun, and has a great flow. First time playing this course and the only thing that I could see that was needed was some attention to the course. It's early in the year so I would love to play this course during the fall to see what it looks like. All in all its a must play.
Pretty Lake Golf Club
Played On 08/31/2014Hometown Course
This used to be completely private, but is now Semi-Private. This is definitley a benefit to the course. It's not real long, but it's tight fairways and strategic placement of OB stakes makes it a stiff challenge. With beautiful views of Pretty Lake and the history of the Great Payne Stewarts course record this course is definitley a must play while in the Plymouth Area.
The Course at Aberdeen
Played On 07/20/2014Great Scenery equals Great Golf
Was a great day for golf. No wind, mid 80's and sunny. Pace of play was good for the amount of people there. This is a must play course for every decent golfer. Could be a struggle for you high handicappers as it is very tight and long.
Wicker Memorial Park Golf Course
Played On 06/13/2014It was what we expected
Good conditions, slow pace as usual, staff allowed a five some to go out in front of us on a Friday afternoon. Course was already jammed enough. 5-10 minute wait on every shot and about 15 minutes per tee.
