Indian Bayou Golf Club

I have played this course over 20 times when I am in the area. The layout is nice and they always have the best greens in the area. They had punched the greens earlier in the week so they were a little sandy but still rolled true. I will always make this a stop on my Destin trips

I had the first tee time and played by myself behind a member. The front nine was like a nature preserve with a pack of deer in number 3 and pelicans on a pond near 7. I played so fast that I had to wait on a couple of holes for the maintenance crew which was fine. The course was in good condition except for the traps but with the hurricane the week before I had no complaints. A great deal on gold noe

The pace of play was outstanding as I had the first tee time and played by myself in 2 1/2 hours. The course was in good shape and the only complaint was the conditions of the traps. They were not raked but since I played near the hurricane I will give them a pass.

I played with my two sons that are new golfers. We teed off around 2 and had no wait.
The course had some tough holes and then greens were rolling well. The price was a great value! My only complaint would be the grass in the fairways was very thin but overall was happy

I have not played the course in a couple of years. I always enjoyed it but in the past the pace of play was slow as they used the double wave and it to forever. We played a two some on a Friday afternoon and the pace on play was around 4 hours which was great. A few of the greens were beat up but overall the course was in good shape. They had a gentleman in a cart bringing ice water to the players which was great as it was over 90 degrees out. A great deal for the golf now price!

I have played here numerous times and it has never been in great condition but it has some tough holes and plays quickly as long as you do not play early when all the older members have standing tee times. I chose it as my 2 boys are just starting out and I knew there was no water holes or many traps for them to contend with. But I was shocked by how bad the greens were. Hardly any grass on the early holes and the other holes that had grass were bumpy and hard to putt on. The people working there are great but they need to inject some money into the course immediately!
Thank you for taking the time to review Hawk's Landing and for playing golf with us last week. We are glad you were able to get out early morning and play a speedy round of golf.
Hurricane Irma definitely did a number on our golf course with debris, downed trees and massive damage to our bunkers as well. Our team worked tirelessly to first clear the debris from the playable areas and make the course ready for play. We then turned our focus to the perimeter debris and of course the bunkers, which are all cleaned up and looking good again.
