Going 5 stars all the way today… nailed my first ace on hole 16.
This course is all about the golf. Mr Jay and his staff know what time it is when it comes to course management and hospitality. These greens are always in amazing shape. Nice tee boxes and beautiful fairways for days. Great job Team Riverside. See you next time! Thank you.
Meadowbrook Municipal Golf Course
Played On 02/24/2021Always a fun time
Great time at Meadow Brook. Very Challenging in the winter conditions. Pin placements were tough that day; do not be high of the hole. Got done in 3 hours 15 minutes. Staff is nice. Great there is a place to play during this strange season. Thanks Meadowbrook!! We will be back

Played On 06/18/2017One of the best in the metroplex
Coyote Ridge is one of the best courses in the metroplex - The course layout is fun and challenging it offers a variety of looks to the golfer of any level. The greens were in phenomenal shape when we played. The staff is awesome and they go above and beyond to make you feel great while you are there. I look forward to returning to coyote Ridge golf course again soon.
Iron Horse Golf Course
Played On 04/21/2017Choo- choo! Great time.
Iron horse is becoming one of my favorite places to play. The course layout and choice of tee locations gives the player a variety of shots to play off the tee. The greens are always in good to incredible shape, the bunkers can be rough some times, hard- but not all of them- (I guess I shouldn't be in 'em anyways:) ). The staff is friendly, welcoming, and engaging. The club house has a great selection of merchandise. The food selection in the dining area is one of the best around. It's nice to eat before or after the round and have better than decent food. Iron horse has really good food!! On the course they have cold beers, liquor, hot dogs, suasages, snacks, gatorades... the views are nice. There's some train cabooses thoughout the course and some decorative tee markers that are pieces of railroad I think. In some of the trains are bathrooms... and they are for the most part clean... clean enough I think ladies would use 'em if you bring some with you. All and all its a great time at Iron Horse. - sometimes pace of play may slow down but they have marshalls regurally doing what they can with the slower groups. - I am usually never in a hurry to finish a round and get off a coure though. Golf Over chores anytime of day!!
Tour 18 Dallas
Played On 03/22/2017Great times
This is my 3rd or 4th time playing this track in the last 4 months I believe. This course has a great set up and they have done a wonderful job choosing the holes they wanted to be a part of the track. I have played this course starting on hole one and on hole 10, both are a unique experience, giving you a nice order of holes, different and scoring opportunities. Please please please heed the advice of the marshals and the score guided handicap Teebox recommendation for your level. Trust me on that- you'll have a better time if you are honest with yourself. I have played this course from the tips, from the blues, and from the whites. All three are an exceptional experience. Definitely recommend bringing a rangefinder or some kind of GPS- I use the one on the GolfNow app with a Mophie just pack, to help navigate you through blind spots on the course. Doing so will save you strokes trust me. I understand that they are remodeling the bunkers (awesome, 'cause they are 20 yrs old and bunker creation/mantinance has changed a little bit) so please don't let that deter you from going or playing, look at it as a great opportunity to shoot a better score because you get to pull your ball out of a coffin bunker that is GUR. :) The fairways and greens are excellent, (remember it is winter in TX and some grass is dormant). I am looking forward to returning as the seasons change and all the grasses have come back. Most of all have fun! Don't feel like you are rushed, because this place usually has a packed tee sheet, just get out there and play. We got a 4 hr round in the afternoon no sweat. Keep up with the pace of play around you and do not be the slowest player in your group:) have fun out there- Thanks to everyone at Tour18!! I always love playing out there.
How can you say the greens were in excellent shape????? I played there in feb and march and there wasn't any grass on the greens!
The Resort Golf Club
Played On 02/21/2017Grill staff needs help
First- this course is really nice, good layout - front 9/ back 9 - clubhouse in between... but don't bother stopping. Pro shop staff is great super friendly and welcoming. Grill staff needs coaching- a lot of coaching - everytime I come to play they are sitting around and watching Netflix on their Phones, it takes too long to get food at the turn and I think they forget they are at work. Tap beers with blown kegs - back to the course Hard pan fairways mostly, Greens are awesome though, bunkers 50/50 - some great, some dirt and rocks, nice views, but more homes are being built in everywhere so that's changing. Members play way too slow and they give you pitch mark tools in the clubhouse but no one fixes any marks on the greens - it's a whip, so sad that those that live their feel they are too good to bend down and fix their ball marks or sand their divota in the fairways- which is surprising from the members. It was cart path only and members were in front of me driving everywhere mucking up the whole place and they were still slow as all get out. Couldn't deal with the pace so I played the front 9 twice and still caught the group I was originally behind on 14. Really!!?? Not worth over 25$ , that's for sure- (Id pay 15$ max) Sadly and I think it has a lot to do with the way the members treat the place. Hopefully they see this and things are done so this place can truely reach it's potential, but it takes all hands in and everyone to really care for the place, even the homeowners.
Riverside Golf Club
Played On 07/29/2014Great course overall
This course is a great time when the weather is nice. The course plays fast and the greens are great. Nice mix of different shots off the tees and pin selection. This course is challenging for all levels of play. Great lay out and use of the surrounding area. When you get out on the course you will forget real fast that you are in the city thanks to the lush texas shrubbery.
Thank you for your review and 5-star rating. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Grand Oaks Golf Club. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
