I have been playing STONEYBROOK for many years. It once was one of the best courses in Orlando. Then it appears they just stopped taking care of it. I gave it a try a couple of months ago and it showed significant improvement. I went back last week and was surprised at how badly it went downhill in a short time. The greens were still good and rolled well. The fairways were just so-so. The rest of the course was brown and dried up. The pace of play was great. Two and a half hours playing alone. I have always loved the layout. I sure hope they spend the money to get it back where it once was.

I’ve have enjoyed playing here for many years. Always liked the layout. A few years ago it became an uncared for mess. Stopped playing here for at least 3 years. I started hearing good things about the condition so I gave it another shot. I was surprised when I walked in the door and he called me by name and said they had missed me. I was very pleased at the condition of the course. It’s not quite back to its glory days but it is in very good shape. If you’re looking for a nice round I recommend giving STONEYBROOK a shot

It was in much better shap than the last time I played there. But not where it used to be. Still needs a lot of tlc. But looks like they are trying to restore it to good condition.

Love this course. Great tract. Head pro Robbie is always there with a smile and a kind word.

I have always liked the layout of this course. It’s sad to see it in such bad shape. Someone should tell them that water and fertilizer will do wonders for a golf course. In the shape that it’s in they shouldn’t charge more than $15 to play here.

The reason I didn’t give the course better ratings was because it was very wet and cart path only. I know it’s not the courses fault it was so wet. We’ve had a lot of rain. But cart path golf is not fun for anyone. I would love to play it again when the conditions are better.

Great layout. Several tee boxes makes it a good course for any level of player. Course was in very good condition. I’ll be back

Fun little course. Not terribly challenging but fun. Greens are small but in good shape.

Possibly the worst greens in central Florida. STONEYBROOK used to be a very nice course to play. Now they should be embarrassed to charge more than $10-$15 to play there. I won’t be back unless I hear they’ve made major improvements.

I’ve played there many times. I love the course. The guy with the bun on his head acted like it was a bother that we were there to play golf. Not the first time either. The Marshall did nothing to speed up play. We told him twice how slow and unprepared to hit when it was their turn. All he would say is you are on pace for a four and a half hour round. The group was never caught up to the group in front of them. All we asked for was for the Marshall to ask them to keep up. It’s a shame that they charge top money and give mediocre service. The course was in very good shape with all the rain we’ve had. If I receive any more poor service from the staff I will probably play somewhere else.

I have played this course for many years. It is my favorite layout in the central Florida area. The last few times I have been there I've been very disappointed in the way the staff treats us. They act like we are just a bother. Not freindly at all. Charged my daughter too much money and didn't seem to care. Very disappointing. The bright spot of the day is John, the Marshall. Very freindly and remembered all of our name from the last time we played. He alone showed great customer service.. The pace of play was slow. But all the groups ahead of us kept up with the groups in front of them.

I love this course. It was in great shape. The guy behind the counter was not very freindly.. He charged the wrong amount for my daughter. Her round should have been free due to a promo code you used through Golf Now. When questioned he did give a rain check. Overall made us feel like we were a bother. On the other hand the course Marshall named John was GREAT.

Pace of play was slow. Only saw the cart girl once.

I have played this course many times. One of my favorite courses. Head pro Robbie is great. Only thing wrong right now is the down trees and debris from the hurricane. But I'm sure every course is dealing with that right now. I would highly recommend this course to any player. There are enough tee markers to make the course a challenge for players of all levels.

I have played this course many times. I haven't played it all in the last two years. I was shocked at the condition of the course. I realize the greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago. But the rough had not been cut for a very longtime. If you missed the fairway you were lucky to find your ball. The greens were dead in many, many places. They had tried to cover those places up with green sand. Lots of weeds on the greens. The traps were just mud holes. Not maintained at all. I will not play there again until it has been restored to the condition it once was. At $19 dollars it was way overpriced. Very disappointed.

I've play this course many times over the years. Due to all the rain it's in very good shape lush and green.
