now i understand its early in the season but this course is in pretty bad shape other than the greens. not worth $65.
the brigantine 9 is target golf with only 1-2 holes to break out the driver if you hit it 240 or more off the tee. i personally dont like teeing off with a 4 iron of 3 wood on every par 4/5. galleon was a little better and more driver friendly. this course had way too many golfers on at one time. 3 hours to play front 9.

It's not perfect but I don't expect perfection for this price point. What I do expect is grass to hit off of in the fairways, around the greens, and of course, on the greens. This course delivered that. After playing 7 other golf courses around the $50 price point over the past two weeks, Old South has them all beat. The layout is fun and challenging but also fair. I played it 2 days in a row and I only do that at courses I like. I do absolutely hate paying for range balls but I guess most courses around HHI charge for them.

I would recommend playing back if you hit it 270+

This is a short layout from whites with few driving holes.

Greens were excellent.

So far the best course I've played in South Jersey.

No wow factor but certainly in good shape. One of the better courses in SoJersey.
