Encanto 18 is a great old municipal course. Wide open fairways and gettabke greens. Nothing at all hard about the course. It should be easy Swift play. But the group in front of us thought they were play in the U.S. Open, evidently. Each one of those four guys how to pre-shot routine that delivered bad shots routinely. The course needs a Ranger to go out and hustle people along. Thank goodness they had a young lady to sell us beverages.

The thing that remains the same is the address. Virtually every hole has been improved From tee to green while keeping the old charm that characterized this property from its inception - lots of shade trees.

109oF is usually unbearable unless you're playing the stadium course in Scottsdale. Being a local, we watching the pros play and that is pretty cool - playing it is even better.
All things considered, its not an overly difficult course if you can stay out of the rough.
We played for $90. I know that it goes for like twice that much in the winter. Other than its PGA pedigree, I don't know why its soooo expensive outside of summer months.
Will play it again... next summer.

Adobe course is all contained in one area. Back and forth through a very "park-like" setting. greens were very nice. Overall great summer experience.
