We just like this course. Conditions of fairways and greens were (and usually are) really good. It's not a boring course. It's an interesting layout with some memorable holes. And range balls are included! Such a deal for $32.

It's down the a piece and it ain't cheap. Hot deal, rewards, yada yada had to make the trip.

Conditions were awesome. One green was having a bit of trouble but that's about it. I almost didn't want to mar the fairway with a divot.

The people are really friendly to boot.

We had one of those days where it seemed like we (a twosome) were the only people on the course. Not that there was any reason to but we actually replayed three holes to see if we could play them any better.

The course conditions were great. Loved the fairways. Greens were slippery. You get free unlimited range balls and the other practice areas are really nice: chip, sand and putt.

I love it when it gets too hot for the regulars.

I've played here a few times but the course conditions were the best I've seen. Greens were quick and true. And if you were in the fairway you could pretty much assume it would be a good lie. For $34 it was a great deal, and that wasn't a 'Hot Deal'. ( The 'Hot Deal" was $40. Huh? ).

It almost seemed a shame to put a divot in the fairway. They and the greens were in wonderful shape. What's not to like? Especially with a Hot Deal.

Not much in the way of trees as this course was built on farmland not that long ago (2014?). I played it a number of times back then and it was kind of Streamsongish with not much build-up yet. Now homes everywhere. But they are not that intrusive. They did a good job of having them set back near landing zones.

I am a fan of scenery but even without it Esplanade is a great course.

This is a neat course. Full practice area: chip, sand, putt and range. Range balls included! Greens were in great shape and running FAST - 12ish stimpy. Fairways were also in great shape. Layout is creative. Driver can reach trouble so a three wood is best choice for a number of holes. It's almost 7000 from the tips.

Pace was marred by one group. And actually probable just one player in that group. He took so much time on the greens. Looked like they (he) were playing $500 a hole. Could of really used some ranger prodding.

But I do like this course and worth playing if you get the chance. Wait until the snowbirds have gone and play when it's really hot so the older members won't be out there.

This is a great course. Not overly difficult but it certainly has its challenges. Conditions of greens and fairways were more than acceptable. Quite scenic. Most holes are not lined with homes.

Pace was great. Went out as a twosome behind another twosome. Made it around in well under four hours.

I liked it. Conditions of fairways and greens were really good. The layout was interesting. Especially since I'd never played there before. I loved the turf used on the range. I'll definitely play again.

This used to be named Imperial Lakewoods. And from what I hear, had really gone down hill. It's now under new ownership and they've put the money into the course. I don't care much about off-course amenities.

Stormed all night. Inches of rain. Lots of standing water but not on the fairways. Overall very playable. The greens were lovely. We were pleasantly surprised.

Great value in the summer. Even after insane rains course was in good shape. Recently aerated greens were also surprisingly filled in nicely. 7000+ from the tips. It's kind of a go-to spot when we can't find somewhere else at a reasonable price.

Hadn't played at Stoneybrook in awhile as it had gone a little down hill. But now the course is in great shape. The fairways were wonderful and the greens were not bad considering they had recently been aerated.

I like the layout. Some really interesting holes. Some very pretty holes. Nice.

The greens were very nice but the fairways were a mess. Large areas with no grass at all. Even over-seeding with rye didn't help - it wouldn't take hold.

A great little course. Fairways were excellent. Greens were slow but in fine shape. One tee box needed some work (too much shade). Overall a great deal. The starter even scooted us out a little early as a twosome to get us ahead of a man/wife newbie pair so we wouldn't be held up. Loved that.

Greens looked a little post-aeration (weeks ago?) ragged but balls ran true and quick. They use blade style aerators that do not cause as much deformation of the surface. Way cool.

Fairways were beautiful.

Layout is interesting and attractive. No adjacent fairways, but tee boxes are close to other hole greens. Could be problematic on a great putt/drive (Yipee he exclaimed).

Weekday pace (I played hookie) was fantastic.

Bunkers and dog-legs upped the challenge a bit.

Highly recommend.

Lots of rye grass for winter play. Haven't played there in years but heard about new owners and they have made condition of fairways and greens really quite good.

Pace of play was abysmal. Early on it looked like a 6 hour round. But some groups ahead of us bailed and it only took 5.
Yipee!

Beautifully kept. Very interesting layout. Scenic cart rides. Water, water everywhere. And a real challenge from the tips.

The three 9's let them work on one while the other two are played. Even when they sand and aerate, play is unaffected.

Pretty challenging from the tips. Sweeping dogs beg for you to cut the corner to get a makeable second shot. Sand or water if you don't execute.

Very wirey grass on the greens. Fast down-grain, slow going against. And scarey going across.

Overall, one of the best I've played in the area, especially considering the price.
