most courses have their highest rates in morning. Highlands has a $23 early bird rate. beautiful bargain. went back 5/9. Same helpful staff, same nice florida morning. Grounds crew working hard and doing a superb job.

hard to judge the course because I was too fed up with pace of play. waiting on every shot is one thing, waiting forever is another. many times we got to next tee to find group ahead still there !!! greedy course sold tee times in the middle of a tournament outing that they deemed not big enough to warrant closing course. they should have put the tourney on one 9 and just double looped the rest of us on the other. or posted some warning on the tee time.

Course was in wonderful shape for May in Fl. They had just sanded the greens so they were a bit slower than normal and didn't break as much as they read. staff very helpful and friendly. I first played here in 2016., came back this year, and I'll be back in 2018 good Lord willing.

Course was in excellent shape. Greens were too unforgiving for my skill level.(12.5 index). None of group were able to hold shots on the greens. everything ran through and off the back, so we had to revert to bump and run, trying to land the ball 10 - 20 yards short and hoping for a decent run up. Putting downhill is treacherous but greens roll true. Visual sightlines are tricky. Even GPS aided we hit a number of shots we thought should be rewarded only to find they ended up out of play. More familiar playing partners OR a course published yardage book would have made this a 5 star rather than 4 star experience.

Jacaranda was in very nice shape for a semi-private, vacation golf course. Prices are in line with or lower than other courses in the area. Well maintained, though there are a few damaged greens staff are working to restore to better health. Putting speeds vary a bit from green to green so be sure to assess each on its own merits. I'll go back the next time I'm in the area.
