Short Executive Course. 18 individual Holes. Excellent Course Conditions. A course that will challenge you to be accurate with mid and short irons. Longer hitters can leave the driver at home and play with a lofted fairway, hybrid, and a few irons and wedges. Smaller greens force precision approach shots. Water in play on most holes with lots of forced carries over water. Although none are too long. I rank Boca Delray GCC along with The Bridges at Springtree (in Sunrise) as two of the best short courses in Broward and Palm Counties. Both consistently maintain outstanding course conditions and offer enjoyable short course play!

Late Hot Deal tee time was a good value. I was impressed with the conditions of the greens and tee boxes. Some fairways were below par but over-all the course is in superior condition.

Although I play 2 to 4 times a week year around, and have lived within a roughly 30 minute drive of the Pompano Beaches' Muni Courses for over 9 years, this was my 1st time playing here. It will most likely be my last although I may give the Pines Course a try as I hear it's much better.
The really sad thing is that everything was fine until I actually teed off on the first hole. Parking was ample. Check in was a bit odd but was no problem. Locker Room was nice enough. The course Staff was friendly enough. The carts themselves were nice enough. And then I teed off on the 1st hole of the Palms and my experience quickly and rapidly went down hill. Put bluntly, the overall course conditions were very poor from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Simply very subpar golf course conditions. It was doubly sad as the basic layout and design were a bit different and intriguing that utilized more than just lots of water and sand as most South Florida Courses do. Sadly it wasn't enough to overcome the horrible course conditions. I may try the Pines course sometime in the future but unless it is far superior to the Palms that will be my last time playing here. There are simply too many better options for the money.

Greens are in Very Good Condition with moderate/fast pace. Teeboxes conditions are good and fairways are also in good condition.

Good length. Wide fairways. Good condition. Greens looked great and are rolling well!

Greens and bunkers in very good condition as they were just redone over this last summer.
Fairways were disappointing with a few being just plain bad.
The truncated 18th hole was disappointing. I hope that's not permanent.
Construction will be ongoing for the better part of 2 years I understand. That has made parking a nightmare. Restroom facilities are nasty porta potties at the "clubhouse" area. (a trailer.)

That said, I like the layout and have always been treated well here. I will continue to play here now and again as usual.

Well above average seasonal conditions. Greens are rolling well. Love the layout. Staff is awesome as always!

Still up in the air on whether this course will continue to operate after April/May of 2019 or be lost to Condo development. I will try to play here regularly and hope for the best. This is a well kept, well managed course that consistently boasts superior playing conditions. A fair test that isn't a back breaker. Rewarding to both the long ball hitter and shot maker. I hope I'll be able to continue playing here for years to come!

Youth tournament getting ready to start when I got there. Staff worked me around in front of them to play Cypress for my front 9. Good overall summer conditions. Played back 9 on the Pines which I hadn't played before. Layout was interrupted and odd and a lot of cart path damage. The holes themselves were in good summer conditions and fun.

Most of the Fairways were Excellent. I was impressed with their condition.
Many of the Greens were in Rough Condition. Patchy and mold issues.
Some Tee Boxes Very Good. Some Average. Some Poor.
We have had very wet conditions and keeping Greens in shape is difficult at best although several other courses are in better shape currently. However, I did see a lot of Greenskeeper Workers out and working throughout the course.
I will stop back out and play another round in the next few weeks and see which way this course is headed.

Longer than an Executive Course but shorter than many Championship Courses. Like the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, sometimes that's just right!
Good and Caring Staff at Bag Drop, Office, and Lounge Area.
Course Conditions are often a step ahead of other courses in the area.
I played 3 consecutive days last week with this being my 3rd and last for a couple of days. Being a bit tired from the 2 previous days playing longer Championship Courses made playing here on the 3rd day the obvious choice.
I will continue to play here regularly.

Good Layout. Solid Course. Real Rough!
Reasonable condition for this time of year and the weather we've been dealing with.
My only real complaint is that their Beer is ridiculously overpriced.

I always enjoy my rounds here. The course is kept in good condition and is challenging without being back breaking. Very crowded at this time of year and pace of play is important. If you can't play 18 holes in 4 1/4 hrs with your foursome then you may want to look elsewhere. They will move you along. This is one of my favorite courses and I do play here regularly.

Good Course that is reasonably priced during on season although off-season rates are too high. Some of the newer employees are not as good or customer oriented as their long term employees are and need to learn from them. They run some good specials in the bar/dinning area and food is good. Cart specials are nice. Course is solid and in decent shape. Very playable from the appropriate tee boxes and challenging enough.

Although Construction near the course continues (and will for some time) the course itself is looking greatly improved from conditions a few months ago.
The Greens have come back in and look and rolled great.
Fairways were in solid shape as were Tee Boxes.
Overall Very Good Condition!
Come enjoy this course while the rates are still cheap and the course uncrowded.

IMO this is the Best Executive Length Course in South Florida bar none.
Challenging for a shorter course but very playable.
Can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced players.
Course conditions are consistently exceptional with outstanding greens.

It had been at least 2 years since I played the west Course at Inverrary. It will be that or more before I do so again. I had played the East Course a couple of times about a year ago and it was pretty decent. That was my expectation for the West course but I was sorely disappointed. The greens were decent, the fairways poor, and the tee boxes terrible. The course has become a dog track. I could find cow pastures in Wisconsin in more playable condition. As our President would say... Sad.

It's truly sad to see a nice layout like this and it just keeps going down hill.
Most of the greens are showing a lot of blight and are pretty much un-puttable.
A lot of the fairways are also showing blight in areas but are ok overall.
Not sure if they can save this.
Not sure that they're really trying to.
Ok for the price of a range session but that's about it. Even then there are better choices for the money.
It really makes me sad to see what could be a beautiful course looking like this.

It's a long drive for me to get there = 45 - 55 minutes.
It's worth it.
