I've played North Shore about 15 times over the years and the most recent was probably the most frustrating. I went out as a single and didn't really see anybody on the first two holes when I teed off. By the time I got to hole number 4 there was a 3 group back up on the tee.

The course layout and condition were good. Greens were in a really good place and fast but they didn't break as much as it looks. Some holes in terms of length I feel cause a lot of the slow pace of play.

Recommend to enjoy the course more to make sure you bring some friends that even out the pace of play.

I used to play this course years ago as a cheap option with friends. As it started to go downhill we started to play other courses around the area. This past weekend I went back and the new ownership has really started to improve the course. The greens were very well taken care of, and the tee boxes were pretty good too. I know there is some room for improvement for the fairways but the course provided a pretty fair challenge from the back tees. For the price I have certainly added it back in my rotation.
