The Club at Rebecca Creek
Played On 03/25/2021Clubhouse, pool and staff were great.
When the grass recovers from the last winter hard freeze the fairway lies won't be so tight. The holes are mostly long but fair. Can't wait till late spring or summer to play the course again.

All the above. Enjoyed playing a full 18 in about 3 hrs.

I've played the course several times and have enjoyed each outing. On this occasion it was less than a week out from a devistating torrential downpour that saw about 14 inches of rain fall in a 24 hour period. Surprisingly, the course was in very good condition and the ball on occasion had to be lifted and cleaned. Other than that there was no difficulty with mosquitoes in the 97° heat, or water drainage issues. On this occasion though the greens we're a little hard to putt with the roll remaining true the entire length but probably was due to the fact that the greens mower may not have been able to be set or even used in it's normal fashion. I booked this round a little more than an hour before tee time but had no difficulty at the pro shop or accessibility to the first tee box. All in all enjoyed it very much..
San Saba River Golf Course

Although the area had a tremendous amount of rain the course drained well, the water holes forced accurate shots, the greens received the incoming ball well if enough loft was achieved. A tournament had been played the day before with dozens of extra carts and players. You would have thought there might be considerable ruttage due to a high traffic volume but fairways, greens and tee boxes held up well. I really enjoyed the layout and locals will not tire of playing frequently because of the uniqueness of the pecan trees, water lined fairways cut of the greens and we'll thought out design. I will definitely return on my way back and forth from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas to my home in Missouri.
Llano Grande Golf Course
Played On 02/28/2018Enjoyed the course.
Sustained winds of over 40 mph did not hinder a most enjoyable afternoon. Greens very slow and a little rough. Got lost one 2 occasions, but probably our fault.

Played On 01/05/2018Fun course
Generous fairways, unique layout on back nine with 3 par 3's in 4 holes and ending with 2 par 5's. Senior tee boxes make for short iron or wedges into greens.
Northcliffe Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/12/2017Course is coming back nicely.
I'm told the course has had some rough times maintenance wise, but it was obvious to me that better days are ahead. The lay out is well thought out, fair to both average and advanced golfers. Greens still need much improvement to bring it up to par. Some promotional material advertise the course as a links but I would refer to it as a normal course with many wide open areas with some high first cut rough. Mike in the clubhouse was very attentive. I stopped in to play and take a much needed break from a long drive from the Rio Grande Valley to Missouri. Very enjoyable afternoon.

What else could you ask for. A great course, lush fairways, penalizing rough, all well maintained, true rolling green, various length tee boxes. My physically challenged partner and I enjoyed the entire afternoon in beautiful surroundings enjoying great interaction with course staff and management. They have a very nice putting green but wish they had a driving range on sight. I look forward to my next outing at this always enjoyable facility.
Crimson Creek Golf Course

Wonderful Links styled layout. Recovering from heavy rains. Several unique holes, some a little hard to reach in regular. I recommend this course strongly.
Pryor Creek Municipal Golf Course
Played On 05/01/2017Recovering from flooding and damaging winds.
Despite flooding and tree damage I was able to play all but one hole. Cart path only was a necessity. Greens were reachable in regulation with a decent drive. Overall a pleasant round.
Windmill Ridge Golf Course
Played On 05/31/2016Impressive course!!!
Turning into the property I was impressed by the contrasting green shades and heights of grass. I thought I was pulling in to an elite country club course. When I started play it was obvious the grounds personnel and the greens keeper were tops in their class. The fairways were cut to the height that you could sweep or take a divot with confidence. The roughs were thick, about 3 inches high but consistent around the greens and off the landing areas. The front side played like a traditional tree lined course and the back side on several holes resembled a hilly links course. Ken in the Pro Shop was great. This now has become my favorite course in S. W. Missouri.
Pleasanton Country Club
Played On 03/01/2016The course lives up to it's name...pleasant
I stopped in after seeing this great looking course from the hiway. Friendly staff, attentive and knowledgable. The course was in quite good condition and the greens rolled true. I liked the forward tee boxes for us older players. It's obvious that the members and regular players take care of their divots and respect golf cart proximity to greens and soft areas...I look forward to playing it again as well as it'sister course about 15 miles away..
Ebony Hills Golf Course
Played On 10/10/2014old municipal course
This course and clubhouse have seen its better days but for the price it is worth the play. I've always been able to slip in 18 without a reservation and completed the round in about 3 hours. There is a good/large chipping and putting area if a local wanted to slip in some practic during lunch hour or after work. It's not a resort course but I'm told that some good players and high school championship teams have called Ebony home.
RiverWatch Golf Club
Played On 08/21/2014great course for good players
I played from the senior tees. It was my first time so was at the mercy of the sloping landing areas and undulating greens which at times were huge, some with false fronts. Beautiful holes, many outstanding features such as several peninsula greens, one which required an approach over a creek canyon, onto a raised, bolder foundation. Lots of bunkers on fairways and around greens. In short, a great course. Definatly, RiverWatch is on my replay list.
Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle Golf Club
Played On 08/13/2014great small country club
I'm 64 and played from the club tees. The length of holes were reachable, the rough was managable, greens fast, true, and held high approach shots. The practice areas for putting and chipping are too small. I'm planning to play the course again before I leave the area.
Ironwood Golf Course
Played On 08/11/2014Great country course, a must play...
I enjoy a good practice area and this facility has a great one, probably because it is the home course of the Tennessee Tech golf team. Several holes had doglegs requiring a fade or draw that if executed properly over or around trees sets up for wedges into some of the par 4s... 9 and 18 greens are carved into the hillside and elevated some 30 or 40 feet requiring a very high and challenging approach with
accuracy to avoid rolling back short or off to the sides and back down into
deep clover rough. I enjoyed the
experience so much instead of driving
30 miles to play a resort course I drove
the 8 miles from the hotel in Cookeville
and went back to Ironwood for another
fun round today.
Lake Tansi Resort
Played On 08/09/2014enjoyable and visually delightful
Played from senior tees making the greens accessable with shorter irons. Although it was wet the greens were still fast and undulating making for a challange with the short stick. Great experiance.
Los Lagos Golf Club
Played On 02/03/2014great course
This was a great experience as a single player as I made the round in under 3 hours due to cold weather and few golfers. As a 60 something golfing enthusiast with a 10 handicap I should have played the senior tees as I had difficulty hitting grees with long 2nd shots. Also the fairways being cut very short occasionaly made it hard for me to get loft on the ball so as to land softly on the greens. When I did get on the greens I found them fair with a true roll and speedy. I liked the challenge of having to shape many shots and appreciate the placement of distance stakes 2 feet high on each side of the fairway to outline target areas. I purchased a practice tee area membership and look forward to many more rounds there.
