We are from ScotlNd and have been coming to Florida twice a year for the last 10 years and have played numerous courses throughout the state. Our first time st Panther Lake and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very informative and friendly and course in excellent condition. My son and I got paired with 2 locals, who I may say were a pleasure to play with. Good test of golf but very fair with it. Don’t know why it’s taken us so long to play here, but will definitely be back.

On Thursday 21 June I took myv3 sons for a round of golf on what I thought would be a nice little track and we could enjoy 18 holes together. We are on holiday here from Scotland, and have been coming to Florida 2 times a year for around 20 years, so we have a fairly lengthy list of courses played. We had a tee time of just before 8am, duly attended and I paid the green/cart fees and we headed for the first tee.
We are 3 different standards of golfer, but we all have knowledge of the game and the etiquette that accompanies it.
We all hit off, hitting reasonable drives down the middle of the fairway only to loose two balls as the length of grass was ridiculous. Dropping balls and moving on we arrive at the green, to find it had been cored and was full of holes.
To narrow this down, we played a few more holes and each was exactly the same.
I spoke to the boys and asked their thoughts and we decided we did not wasn’t to continue in such poor conditions as it was not enjoyable.
We returned to the ‘clubhouse’snd were met with the fella I’d paid to get on and another fella who spoke to us on the first tee, who stayed rather abruptly ‘why are you back so soon, something wrong’. I explained to both that the condition of the course was not really up to standard and had we been informed of this we would not have paid to play. Both then became very ignorant a d more abrupt until after much deliberation, I was refunded my money. Having played golf at a fairly high level for approximately 45 years, I do feel that I have acquired fairly healthy knowledge of the game and the mechanics that are involved in all the running of golf courses/clubs.
I have given each catagory 1* and feel that is too much. We were totally disgusted by this behaviour and wil definitely not be back anywhere near it again

I played the course on Monday 18 June for the first time and thisvwill also be the last. The actual course layout and hole features is very good and the greens were in good order.
The fairways were very inconsistent with some reasonable and others in parts not so reasonable. The tees if not devoid of grass, had far too much and were in dire need of a cut.
The staff were very unpleasant with no conversation or explanation, just very direct and abrupt.
All in all, the visit fulfills the role of adding another course to my USA courses played list.

First visit to the course and despite all the heavy recent rain, found it to be in excellent condition and dry underfoot. My son and I played and were joined by a very pleasant local member who informatively helped guide us round the course. We are from Scotland and have been coming to Florida 2/3 times a year for approx 10 years now, so we have played many courses in the State. Great VFM and will definitely return.

First of all can I say that I have previously played the course and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so, that’s why I returned with both my sons, one of which was celebrating his birthday. We are fro Scotland and gave holidayed in Florida 2/3 times a year for the last 10 years, so I have played several of the courses in the Orlando area.
I do appreciate that there was considerable rainfall on the night of 13 June.
On our arrival at the course the staff were very pleasant and we got checked in and all set to go. We were informed that due to the rainfall it was cart paths only. We lastrd 4 holes, 2 of which were par 3’s and were forced to stop due to the exceptionally wet underfoot conditions. The course was unplayable and we should not have benn allowed on. The course should have been closed as golf was impossible and anyone playing on it would be causing damage. We were the only people playing and decided to call it a day.
When I returned to the Pro shop I explained to the staff my concerns and they agreed, saying that consideration was given to closing the Tee. We were offered a ‘Rain Check’ which I duly accepted as I do want to play the course again with my sons.
I do feel that we should not have been allowed on to the course and re booked for another time.

Along with my 2 sons (aged 22/17), I had the misfortune of playing this ‘golf course’ on Sunday 15 Oct 2017. Firstly may I state that I have been visiting Florida 2/3 times a year for the past 10 years or so and have golfed regularly on each occasion. Therefor I have amassed a considerable amount of courses played throughout the state.
I have to say that Willowbrook rates unchallenged as the WORST course I have played. An absolute disgrace to charge anyone fees ($25 each) to ‘play’ here.
The course itself is throughout very wet, which is understandable, due to recent weather conditions.
There is no definition between fairways and rough.
The tees are overgrown, on occasion as long as areas of the rough itself.
The fairway grass is far too long and untidy.
The greens have weeds throughout and have only been cut, not treated or removed. The grass for greens was far too long and were covered in in repaired plug marks and generally needed a complete overhaul.
The whole place was untidy and to cap everything off, there were players on the course who had removed their shirts, making the place look even untidier.
I could go on, but I think anyone reading this, if they know anything about golf, will get the general points I make.
The only good thing I can say about the place is that I can tick the box to say o have played it and add it to my ever growing list.
Sorry folks but that’s how we saw it and would steer people away, rather than have them suffer that.

Hadnt played here for quite a while and Course was in reasonable condition albeit very wet underfoot in places. Thus the 99 degree rule applied and also some cart path only. Very disappointed with starting staff who was rather abrupt and not very approachable. Unable to get food/drink when we finished as they did not accept cash.

A very good golf course and in very good condition !! Pace of play wasted round a bit as we were out for over four and a hf hours. Rate this up beside Celebration GC in Orlando.

Reasonable golf course, but condition of course a bit untidy on front nine, but a lot better and tidier on inward nine. Pace of play was not good. Some nice costal holes/views

Expected this to be a better place as it carries the name of a very successful pro. The starter was very abrupt, bordering on ignorant and the course was pretty average condition. Pace of play particularly slow. Little or no catering facilities on completion of round. Very dissatisfied with the whole set ip

Decent golf course, but quite a few holes vey wet underfoot. Catering pretty basic. Enjoyable course to play.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and the layout. I played the course with my 13 year old son. Some excellent holes and a good but fair challenge. Disappointed at pace of play after 9 holes and some players could have shown etiquette and allowed faster games to play through.
