Played last August on the temp greens with 6" holes (said airfication on Golfnow), ok but just wasn't the course the designer designed. Glad I came back. New greens are FANTASTIC! Way firm, givem a year and they'll be perfect. Now, if it's not a Top 10 course in the state it should be. The club house/dining leaves a little wanting but everything else about what a Golf Club should be The Neuse has!!

Great course. You do have to know where to hit it. Can be a little tricky and some hidden trouble lurking on slightly off line shots. Not a flat lie anywhere but the greens held shots well and were in fair shape. Perfect speed, not blistering fast nor slow.

Only word to describe it is Perfect!! Course is dang near perfect. The entire staff is friendly, happy and helpful.

They had a 6 hour Scramble tournament in front of us. Which sucks (6 hours!!) Nothing much the staff could do but they didn't even seem to care. The course lay out is nothing special and amenities are small and crowded or outside.

High on Carolina Trace. Lake course. Great course and layout is spectacular. Course is in perfect condition. Pace was great till the very end.

For being season and one of the better clubs in area I was a little disappointed with the operation. That being said its still an excellent golf course in fair condition.

Had a blast. Simulator is dead on. Other then every shot is from a perfect lie its very realistic. Played TPC Sawgrass. Kevin was outstanding! Explained and demonstrated the system simply and concisely. Beer was excellent and there are quality choices for food.

Good design. Fantastic greens. Staff very accomadating at a very busy time of the year.

The most challenging course u can play any day in the area. Great greens. Almost always in great shape. Other then an aqua range with no targets but grass tees you couldn't improve this course.

Great course. Very well designed but a few to many blind tee shots for me. But no boring holes. Fantastic greens.
