My home course

I'm a member at Southern Oaks and am delighted that I found this place. I've been a club member at a number of country clubs across the metroplex and feel my new home is better then most. Course is challenging and always in excellent shape. The practice facilities are great and the staff is as good as it gets. Friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. The future is bright for this golf and tennis club!!!!

Nice course Great clubhouse. Front and back nine play like two different courses.

Coyote Ridge is a nice track. It is well maintained and challenging.
Practice area is small but adequate for pregame loosening up.
Some very challenging holes particularly on the back nine. Number 10, par five requires a good tee shot, a long and well positioned layup so you can take a mid iron into the uphill green.
Number 18 is best played from the very back tees.
The front nine and the back nine look like two different courses

Iron Horse is a fun course. A good value. Recommend playing from the Green or Black (back ) tees

Holes 2 and 3 are very challenging and the last stretch of holes 15, 16 and 17 are too. Play from the back tees or the green tees and you will be tested and use all the clubs in your bag.
Course is in good shape, practice area is marginal, staff is excellent and all in all this is a course I would recommend....particularly if you can find it for $35 or less

A real challenge from the tips

Course is very challenging from the back tees. It was in excellent condition. One of the finest layouts in the Metroplex. Play is sometimes slow but outside of that it makes for a great day. One of my favorites.

A fun course that can play easy from the front tees and most challenging from the back tees.

The first hole is lousy, one of 3 or 4 holes that are uninteresting and require work. On the flip side there are some real nice holes, 2, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15,, 16, 17
Overall course is in good shape with the exception of the bunkers....fairway bunkers are more rock then sand and green side bunkers don't have enough sand to be playable. We take a free drop from the bunker....that's how bad they are!
Ignore some of the issues and a good value at $25
