WET from Monsoon rains previous evening. Some standing water meant pick and drop. Also needed to wipe mud off ball numerous times. This being said, course is very green and plays nicely. Greens a little slow BUT grass was enjoying the water and the sun! SUNBIRD is a FUN course to play!

Sunbird was in excellent condition considering its still August in AZ. Perfect course for senior golfer! Don't let the Party fool you. It's a challenging course with just enough water to get your attention. Staff is always helpful AND we like the restaurant. Excellent burger and fries with reasonable beer and drink prices.

Overseeding so cart path only! Fairways were good! Greens still rough in places butnot horrible. Nice day, paired with 2 nice ladies! Sand traps KUDOS to staff. Best sand traps compared to many courses we have played. We dined at Mulligans after our round AND EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Good service, good food!

The course was in great shape with all the challenges of "oversees" in Az. Cart path only Unmowed fairways so no roll. Fluffly greens so ....S L O W! That being said, the grass needs to grow for winter play. NOT unhappy! Price $30 was fair for conditions. We like the course AND the food in grill was excellent SO we will be back!

Front desk handled MY tee time mistake perfectly! ALL was good! Course was excellent especially the greens! Our first time here AND we will be back!

Wife and enjoyed a nice lunch preround, practiced putting and the starter came got us right on our tee time. Pace of play was excellent and the course was in excellent condition. Greens were firm but that is expected late summer in Arizona. Nice young golf cart attendant drove our cart to our car in the parking lot and loaded our clubs. NICE EXTRA EFFORT!

First check in was "unpleasant "! Common sense with senior husband/wife players should not have been a issue over "who is driving the cart"! Second, we were 40 minutes early and no other golfers in sight. Never told " we coul start when ready" just go to #1 at our tee time. The practice putting green was in bad shape. Dry, hard, brown with bare spots. Unfortunately most of the 18 greens were in similar condition. Also bare and brown areas in the fairways. Some of the tee boxes were so hard we had to try different spots! We have played MR several times this year and not experienced these course conditions.

First, monsoon rain all night but rain stopped just before our 7:54 tee time. Marshall started us early before 8am Mens Club and we had the course to ourselves. We played "lift and clean" and had to drop out of some standinfg water! Fairways NO ROLL! Greens SOFT AND RECEPTIVE something you dont get in AZ in August. OH and mosquitoes were bad! We had spray and told cart attendants to warn any players they would need it! THANKS to staff for having the course in playable condition after all the rain!

Course is in amazing shape considering one year ago. They just sanded the greens BUT they were OK and will be better in a week. Staff ALWAYS friendly AND bottled water and towels in the cart are a BONUS! Mission Royale is a value and one of our favorites compared to other east side courses. Also the after round food was excellent including the service!

Mid day start and it was windy! Everything else good! Staff always friendly and because it was Mother's Day and slow we got to start 1/2 hr early. Twosome in front, twosome behind so pace was good. Greens were fast AND the wind made for a tough scoring day. Did I mention the hamburger and fries and cold beer after the round? BEST BURGER on ANY course in East Valley AND only $7. Plan to eat att the course! Really GOOD FOOD AND GREAT PRICES!

Postom Butte was in excellent shape! Greens were soft enough to hold approach shots.only complaint we were 12:50 tee time and it was a hot day and there was no ice water in any of the on course igloo coolers..

Played here last year, only 8 holes playable and in rough shape. What a difference! Kudos to staff and residents for saving their golf course. Nice green fairways and tee boxes. Greens are still being worked on BUT pretty good considering! They are fast and have some bare spots BUT all things considered Mission Royale is very playable! Also new electric carts with wind shields. Paired with a nice resident couple with similar golf skill set made the round even more enjoyable.. Liked it so much we booked it again!

Played here twice this week and very windy both times. Fairways are dry and hard. Greens hard and fast. The course is "AVERAGE" and what you would expect for the price. Do wish they had a marshall as 3 older men in front of us were playing Blue tees and hitting driver 150 yds. All 6 of their "over water" P3 shots were wet! Talked to foursome behind us and they said "no problem, they would just pace behind us!

Paired with a couple our age and enjoyed round. If you don't hit the green, most of your lies will be on hard tight lies. Think the flag had not been moved from previous day as there was an obvious "volcano" right around the hole. Also as first timers we felt there could have been signage directing golfers to the location of the next tee box!

First, Pro Shop staff was very friendly and helpful! As first time players we enjoyed the course layout. Very challenging par 3's! The greens were in good.shape with some difficult pin placements. Pace of play was excellent! We will be back!

First, paired with another couple of similar ability SO made for a FUN day! Course was a pleasant surprise. Nice fairways (some narrow) and SUPER FAST greens as advertised! Traps were NOT the best AND any that had standing water dried to something like cement! I guess my only real complaint was the cart girl! NOT real friendly. Never spoke twice when she drove by, once when one of us was hitting near the cart path. She needs some training on golf ediquitte AND could be more FRIENDLY! Maybe just a bad day!

Wife and I really enjoy playing Sun Bird. Perfect course for senior couples. Shorter BUT challenging. Fast undulating greens and water on many of the holes make SB a fun day of golf. Food, prices and sercvice make the restaurant a bonus after our round!
