We played Friars and Presidio, and Friars was in horrible condition! I mean fairways, and all. No mention of that when I booked through GolfNow and paid $42 at 3pm. Ridiculous!!

I played a few groups ahead of you and enjoyed decent lies, excellent greens and speedy play. Yes, the fairways are a mess, but they were much worse a couple months ago. "Often Disappointed" as a previous poster titled has been a problem in the last few years. But not to worry... Redevelopment for the area is back on track; don't be surprised to see Friars bulldozed this year.
