My wife and I played the Palms course on Sunday January 24, 2016. We wanted to try something different in the Coachella Valley. We were pleasantly surprised over the price, pace of play, conditions of the course, and course difficulty. We'll play it again during our next trip to the Valley.

I booked an afternoon tee time, however I arrived early and the starter was very accommodating to get me out early since I had a 4.5 hour drive ahead of me. The first impression was that this course reminded me of other desert courses, but Siena had a certain flair to it. Good challenging tee shots, reasonable approaches, and undulating greens allowed me to shoot an expected score for a first time visit.

We played Sedona Golf Resort earlier in the week, so we wanted to give Oakcreek a try. We received a good tee time rate for a 1pm start. The course reminded me of an older, more established course. Fairways were straightforward and the greens had more undulation than expected. There were some holes which had wonderful red rock views which were not too distracting. Overall, it was a good value for the round and experience.

Went out on the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day. Busy course and the staff was very accomodating to get me out to play in time to finish before sunset. Course is well maintained and as challenging as ever. Fairways, rough, greens, sand, and fringe areas challenging but not overwhelming.

We played the West/South courses at RLP Sunday Feb 10. Pro Shop, Canteen, and Starter Shack personnel were very helpful, considerate, and friendly. Driving range pads were very dusty and distracting during warmups. Course tee boxes were in excellent shape. The fairways were lush with no bare spots. The greens ran slow, but true with no bare spots. A great value for the money.
