It's my favorite.
Zellwood Station & Country Club
Played On 06/03/2017Love ❤️ Zellwood
Zellwood is my secret spot. The layout, the cost and the people make Zellwood. A top course to play in the Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Longwood and Lake Mary area. Oh the pace of play is the best. Members will gladly wave fast players through.

I drive about 20 miles to play Twin River because of these reasons:
- Best value for money. They have very flexible pricing.
-Friendly and understanding staff.
-The chance to meet the smartest people UCF is around the corner.
-Challenging course try birding hole 2.

RedTail Golf Club
Played On 03/20/2015Top 5 in Orlando
I am suggesting that serious golfers from Orlando or visiting Orlando , take the time to ride up to Sanford, then take that turn up 46 to Sorrento. It's just about 10 minutes from 1-4.
Here are a few things you might like:
The staff is helpful beyond belief. From the Dir. Of Golf (who I played the last hole with) to the guys who unload your clubs at the end of the day.
The pace of play - I just couldn't believe it - well managed!
The playability and challenge of the golf course. EXCELLENT. I am comparing it to some of the best courses in Orlando such as Lake Nona.
It has a wonderful mix of right and left dog leg turns. You know what I mean by "they build the course then the intersperse the houses so that it doesn't disrupt the golf.
Bottom line is, I shot my best round there Friday. Just watch out for that 18 hole. it cost me 6 pushing me over 80 :(
