Had been a few years since we had played Legacy so thought we would give it a shot. Very disappointed in the course conditions, poor pace of play and unattentive staff.

We try this course each year hoping for an improvement in condition or pace of play and are once again disappointed. Course is in dry and very rough condition with the greens being excessively bumpy. Frustrating when the starters seem to provide no benefit and cannot maintain a reasonable pace of play with a departing comment after you are teeing off 20 minutes late already of "I hope you brought your patience with you today". How about actually have a "Marshall" get out on the course and try to regain some control on the pace of play. 5 hrs for this type of course is unacceptable.

Course is in poor condition with rough very uneven and overgrown, greens slow and rough, tee boxes mostly seem to have slopes to hit from, very slow play with marshals no where to be found, Course would be a much better playing experience if there were Marshall and a starter available. Unfortunately we used to enjoy this course but currently the place is looking really tired and run down.

Good round with the course in good shape as usual. Certainly enjoyed the fact that it was no longer cart path only and pace of play was good.

Enjoyed our round with course being in decent condition considering it was shortly after overseeing. Greens a little slow but to be expected this time of year. Strange policy that you provide a deposit when they provide a cooler for you to use o the course.

Only completed 14 holes as no marshals on the course and 4 to 5 groups on each hole towards the end of the round. No management to discuss the issues with or even answer their telephones at 4pm. Tons of staff around but no supervision or management present. Best to avoid this establishment until major changes are made including starters, marshals etc which they have none a busy Saturday.

Enjoyed the round with a proffesionally operated organization from the cart staff to check in personnel, starters, etc. Course in decent condition considering it was slated to be closed for overseeing in a few days. Well designed green complexes, quality tee boxes and very player friendly layout in general.

Nice course and facility just a little too long a drive from the city.

Although the course was being prepped for overseeding it was obvious that the facility and layout are quite nice. Good design and layout with interesting holes that required you to hit most clubs and shape some shots. A fair amount of water as well as many traps will keep all golfers thinking and strategizing. Only real complaint would be with the sand traps as they seem to be lacking a realistic amount of sand but hopefully this is something that will be addressed during the overseed. Pace of play was 4 hrs and pleasant.

Starter was clueless as to how to manage the customers on the 1st tee. Delays caused by lack of available carts. No marshals on course and 5 hours only allows us to complete 16 holes. Combination of poor golf etiquette and no marshals on the course. Poor course management and will not be back which is unfortunate as the course itself is a rather nice layout but is overshadowed by mismanagement and incompetence.

Only problem but is a major one is that the play was so slow we spent 4:45 on the course to complete only 16 holes. Combination of poor golf etiquette and no useful marshals on the course. Poor course management.

Great little course that rewards tee shotson the fairway. Greens in good shape and rolled true. No real rough as it is basically dirt but still a bargain to play. Tee boxes and fairways also in good shape. Great reasonable option to avoid the elevated prices elsewhere in the valley.

Overall good day as soon as you realize that the greens are hard as rock. Fairways were also dry and hard with only hardpan dirt to be found where other courses would have rough. No marshals to be found with pace of lay being just under 5hrs which is less than optimal.

Good value for what was paid. Course and greens were in very good condition. Poor bunkers with very little sand. Staff was not overly friendly and they didn't have enough carts for the players but was resoled in time for our tee off. Pace of play was a little slow with no marshalls to be seen.

Difficulty started at check in when the fellow behind the counter could not find anyone's reservation on his computer and suggested that we were not booked. After a short argument the started showed him that all of our names were on his list but for some reason he couldn't find it on his computer screen. Seemed obvious that he would benefit from some training on how to use the system. Once issue was resolved and we finished paying for our round it was time to head over to the 1st tee and the starter. We were 20 minutes ahead of our scheduled tee time so our group stopped at the adjacent (50 feet away) putting green to warm up when the starter came over to us insisting that we proceed with teeing off immediately (20 minutes ahead of our actual tee time) as he wants to keep the course on time. We complied and proceeded with teeing off without our warm up only to come to 3 groups of 4somes waiting on the second tee box. Again the staff could greatly benefit from training which in this case would allow players adequate time per hole and not bunch up the groups. The 20 minutes standing and waiting on the 2nd tee would be more pleasant for all warming up at the practice facilities instead. Unfortunately that extra 20 minutes equated to a 5+ hour round as there were no marshals present. Decent little course being a little short in length but fun to play but was unfortunately overshadowed by a staff that was lacking.

Confusion began when we received instruction form one started to tee off on #10 and another starter stopped us at the last second to send though another group in front of us. Cart path only was enforced on this day due to rains that had occurred a few days earlier even though we found that there were no significant wet sections on the course. As a walker the there is no effect on my pace of play, but for all of the riders this slows play significantly as they walk back and forth to their carts the fairways. As we were backed up all day we spoke with regulars in line to hear that this was normal and 5+ hrs is what you should expect to play this course. Rough was non existent but greens were rolling well.

Nice little warm up to the week. At its price point it is a great value with decent tee boxes and greens rolling true. 9th hole could possibly use a clowns nose over it but all in all a fun afternoon on a mini course.

Great 1st class facility from tee to green. Tee boxes in great condition, sandtraps well groomed with ample thickness of sand, lush fairways and beautiful greens that not only could hold your approach shot but rolled true on each putt.

Always enjoy this course as it is never busy like most valley courses but you pay for this luxury with a lengthy drive from the city. It boasts a great layout and design but unfortunately is poorly maintained. Dry fairways and lack of rough are tolerable because of good tee boxes and greens. The savings in green fees may be spent on your next fuel fill up but is still worth the drive.
