Sultan's Run Golf Course
Played On 07/04/2023Best value in Indiana
Sultans Run is a MUST play if you’re in the Southern Indiana area. The course is always impeccable and the staff are exceptional. The value, especially during the week simply cannot be beat for a course of this caliber. The views of all the holes are spectacular, and the 18th is something to behold.
Chariot Run
Played On 11/05/2020Still awesome in November
What can I say? Chariot Run is by FAR my favorite course in the Louisville, Southern Indiana area. While the course is showing signs of wear due to being late in the season, the conditions are still much better than any public course in the area. If you are in the area, you simply MUST play this course. It will definitely become one of your favorites, and if you’re military or retired military, $29 Monday through Thursday is the most amazing value.
Heritage Hill Golf Club
Played On 09/16/2018Good round
I’ve played this course many times. The layout is fun and challenging. The overall condition of the course was good considering how late in the season it is. However, the bunkers were terrible. They are not maintained and are more rocky dirt than sand. They are non-playable. Additionally, the greens are pretty chewed up and shaggy. This course’s greens are usually fast and impeccable, but were disappointing today. It will not stop me from coming back. I highly recommend this course.
Chariot Run
Played On 08/22/2015First rate! A+
While it may take a little travel time to get to the course, I would go twice as far to play it. The course was in absolutely fabulous condition. The greens were hard and FAST, but were perfectly true. The staff, especially the starter are all too notch and super helpful and friendly. If you are anywhere close to Chariot Run, you simply MUST play this course. I can't wait to play it again.
Lincoln Trail Golf Course
Played On 08/08/2015Fun and quirky
I play this course regularly because it is right down the street from me. With that being said, I love the layout. It is short, but quirky. It is a fun course to play because you don't have to be a bomber of the tee. The greens are getting a little chewed up due to it being late in the year and all of the rain we have had this year, but they are still in rather good condition.
Lucas Oil Golf Course
Played On 05/23/2015Good for the money, but....
Happened to catch a hit deal to play this course, so for the moment money, it was an excellent deal. However, it took over an hour to get to the course, and the courses condition was less than stellar. To some it up, due to the pace of play, distance I had to travel, and condition of the course, and wouldn't travel that distance again, even with a hot deal.
Bardstown Country Club - Woodlawn Springs Course
Played On 09/13/2014Solid course for the money
This is a decent course, especially if you play as a Hot Deal. The fairways were a little spotty, but the greens were very good. If you have a tendency to spray your tee shots, this course will be challenging, particularly with a couple of major roads along some of the holes. Overall, I would certainly recommend this course.
Heritage Hill Golf Club
Played On 09/06/2014Fantastic course!
I am generally not one to write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. First, I was able to land a Hot Deal tee time for less than half if the normal price and it was some of the best money I've spent for golf, thanks Golf Now!! I am glad I saved my emailed receipt, because originally the staff attempted to charge me again after paying in full on the mobile app, but the young man was great once I showed him my receipt. Now, the course, it was fabulous!!!! The fairways, tee box, and even the rough, all terrific. The greens were a little chewed up in spots, but it is late in the year. They were still overall in good shape. Bottom line, the average Joe can truly get a feel of just how nice conditions are for the pros. If you haven't played Heritage Hills, you are honestly missing out on a jewel of a course. I HIGHLY recommend this course, especially through Golf Now!
Sleepy Hollow Golf Course
Played On 9/29/2013Shouldn't be called a golf course
To say that this course requires attention is probably the biggest understatement of the year. I was able to play this course for a hot deal rate and still only played 9 holes. There is absolutely NO fairway. You have nice tee boxes and adequate greens, but NO fairways. I lost three golf balls hitting a tee shot straight down the middle. I would give it a lower rating for condition if that were possible. If you enjoy the game of golf, do yourself a favor, save your money and play a round in your yard. The conditions will not differ much.
