Bunkers, Bunkers, Bunkers...... everywhere. This is one of my favorite courses along the front range!! All the bunkers are a signature of Robert Trent Jones Jr. and he doesn't disappoint here. With that said, I wish they would re-work the bunkers. They are getting pretty compressed and packed down. I makes them difficult to hit out of. Other than that, this course is ALWAYS in great shape and a real joy to play.

We played this course on a Sunday. It was so fun and beautiful, we played it 2 more times in 5 days. The course was in great shape and the greens rolled true. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We ate the restaurant once for lunch and the patio was very nice, service was great and the food was delicious as well as a fair price. Highly recommend this course.

For early March the course and greens were spectacular. Don't let the flat park style course lull you into too much relaxing. The greens are smaller and mounded all around them. Sloped from front to back and smaller. If you want to score get your green in regulation and leave it below the pin. HAVE FUN!

The course was in great condition. The fairways were all grown in nicely and the greens were in great shape. Not the courses fault, but I wish players would clean up their ball marks. You can make this course easy or difficult depending on your T box choice. If you go further back, you have a fair amount of forced carries and the angles change. The practice facility was great and the staff have always been friendly. They do need to replace or fix a fair amount of the carts. They'll get you around but are for sure in nedd of some TLC. I WOULD recommend this course to friends.

I enjoy playing this course. It can offer a good challenge if you want it. Pick your tee box and hold on for a rolling ride. The fairways only give up a flat lie once in awhile. The greens were in great shape as well as the fairways. If you get off the fairway, prepare for a lie in deep grass. Great course and it will be as challenging or as easy as you make it!

My wife and I needed a weekend golf getaway but didn't want to deal with the hub bub of the metro AZ golf and spring training. After some research we found Los Caballeros and Wickenburg. It was all we were hoping for. The course was in great condition and the beauty was amazing. The course has a few challenges and is laid out well. With all the different sets of tee boxes you can make it as easy or challenging as you desire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want to eat in town, don't pass up the eateries in Wickenburg. Super friendly and fun little town.

My wife and I needed a weekend getaway from CO. We didn't want the chaos of golf in major AZ cities, so after reading reviews, we chose StoneRidge. So glad we did. The employees, the course, and the views were awesome. The course was in great condition considering the time of year. It is as challenging as you choose to make it. Play conservative when unsure what's up ahead, when you can see the shot take it. I played one of my best rounds, but I can see how a person could loose a lot of balls if you're "just going for it". There is A LOT of terrain but it makes for some real beauty. We will play it again when we're in the area!

It's a Jim Engh course so don't expect a flat lie in the fairway, or less than a dramatic rolling green. The course was in pristine condition and as always the staff was friendly and helpful and a pleasure to talk with. Jim Engh knows how to work with the natural surroundings and design beautiful courses. I always enjoy playing this course, even if I can only make it up from Denver once a year! Play it for the fun of the game, awesome course conditions, and beauty of the high mountain desert! Oh yeah, can't forget about the incredible bunkers.

This course saw a ton of beetle kill but has done an excellent job in redefining the course. It opened up the beautiful views and really made the fairways and greens shine. It is not a difficult course but it does offer some challenges along the way, and if your not looking they will bite you. It is a very family friendly and the staff have always been a lot of fun. We enjoy playing this course as often as possible!

I have played this course many times and I love how peaceful it is. Always see a lot of wildlife and the conditions are good to great. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I really like playing here.

The course was in great condition even with the hard dry winter it had. If your golfing includes a great clubhouse experience, don't go. The club house takes payments and that's about it. If you golf for the love of the game, challenge and scenery, you must go. Engh has done another great job using the landscape and building a beautiful course where you wouldn't think possible. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed Engh's tricks and blind shots. Very entertaining! We'll be back!

I find this course a challenge. I norm shoot in the mid 80's but for some reason only shoot in the low 90's here. I like the challenge but the fairways and greens need some attention. The fairways are a bit rough as are the greens. If you can get it for around $35 with cart, it is a good value. I will continue to play here for now as long as conditions don't worsen.

This course is in ok condition for the time of year. cart paths need some attention. great views of the mountains and a good value for the money when I purchase on Golf Now.

Wide open fairways, but if you get off you'll be in trouble. No houses crowding the course and great views of the rockies. The course was in great shape and the greens ran fast and true. Fun, enjoyable course!

This course is one of favorites. If you stay on the short grass it challenges you but dosen't punish you. If you are playing from the rough and sand, it will make pay in strokes. People are friendly and views are great.

Late Sptember and the course was in great shape. The scenery was beautiful and the entire staff were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to accomodate our requests. I would recomend this course to anyone in the area. There were challanging holes that you had to think. Other holes that are very straight forward. Overall a fun course!
