I paid for & travelled 25miles to play a new 18hole course, only to find it had been reduced to 9 holes some months beforehand!
Golf Now have been informed by the golf course of this reduction but still advertise it as 18 holes.
I feel cheated & have overpaid

I paid for 18 holes, but this course has been down to 9 holes for at least 5 months !!
No one at check-in said it was now down to 9 & the 2 cards they gave us had a map on the back with 18 holes mapped out!
We asked what else we needed to know - but the young lad who checked us in said "nothing"

For a council course, it was great !
Period !!
And I got to play on a Sunday morning, with less than a day's booking !

Course seemed busy, but we were only tagging on at end of a Saturday medal
For mid-to-late Sept course was ok - greens reasonable - nice layout
Some maint being done _ that's good !

This place - on a small island, 10mins on the ferry, is stunning. Its has loads of unique holes - Braid must have had a field day!
Millport has to be a hidden gem - it has a few ordinary holes- like most places, but the views are stunning & the challenge is terrific. Its a must play course, in a must see island.
