Second time playing and I enjoy the layout and this time it was dry which is a plus. However the greens were slow but smooth. I imagine this is due to the wetness from the hurricane.

My biggest issue was the starter and the ranger. Basically we teed off 30 minutes after our sheduled tee time. The starter kept allowing those that were late to tee off ahead of us. Then once we finally teed off the pace of horrific and it was not till hole 8 that the group in front got a warning to speed up. Didnt help. We ended up skipping 10 and playing thru on 11. Then it got better and we could settle into the round. Very frustrating and could easily be managed but was not.

This course layout is very fun and challenging enough. Unfortunately the day we played it was extremely wet and carts were tearing up the fairways. I imagine when it is dried out it is much better to play. My drives were plugging in the fairways and we were very careful where we drove. The greens were great however a bit slow. We played very early and that may have added to the issue.

Even with all of that I will be back. There is always a reason for these types of issues and I will give it a second chance.

Enjoyed this course very much and will play here again. I was met by very friendly staff. My interaction with the front of the house was very good. The only drawback was the greens and some of the teeboxes were in rough shape. Based on the time of year I understand that fixing issues on the greens is tough. However getting the holes or thin spots filled in and level needs some attention. However the layout is fantastic and I will play again. If the greens and tees were in better shape I would give it a 5.
